I would do whatever one here has said.  I would trade everything of value, with the exception of Trout, and I would seek the best talent that is the closest to being ready, I can get for them.  Now I wouldn't trade players of worth (Calhoun, Simmons) for the sake of trading them.  If I am trading them it is to get better in two years.  We can do a hybrid of young talent along with free agency.  Before the yk's and claudes come out of the word work and bitch about free agency,  I am not even talking about the really big money guys.  I'm talking about guys that come in and do their job, to fill out the roster, so we don't depend on the Ortegas and the Marte's and the Petits of the world.

It's actually weird when playoff games are on during the day. Most days there are no day games, except on weekends or wednesdays. What they really should do is be less afraid of having games overlap. I would be fine with games starting at 4, 5, 6 & 7 pm on different networks.

Congrats Albert 30 games youve been good. What's his batting average for the year 244 ok just checking. I forgot where they sign players who make 30 mil a year to only play 1 or 2 months out of the 7 month season. Hope he keeps it up tho. 

The entire league was on something and he was pretty much unstoppable go look at his numbers. Even his last year in the league he was better than anyone in the league. Steroids is a part of every day life, and every day sports life. I don't for the life of me care who takes steroids in sports or not anymore. NBA players are bigger faster stronger than they've ever been before in the history of their game but no one thinks about PED's. Football is full of that stuff and no one could care less. Why do people care that people are using this stuff? How is steroid use beneficial to cancer patients, people going through HIV and used in medicine all around the world but to a normal human being its harmful, and this is why athletes can't do it? Because it's "illegal".

I completely agree. I personally think people are insane if they think the guy is going to give back 100+ million dollars that both parties agreed to. I could maybe see him taking year 10 off, but certainly not 3-4 years like some are suggesting.
 
I don't blame him at all. I can honestly say that even if I had all the money Pujols has, I'd play out the rest of the contract too and set my great great great great grandchildren up for life. A lot of the blame that Pujols is going to get for playing out his contract should be directed at no one but Arte.

Last year on May 26 Pujols started his fluke streak where he magically turned things around. He hit 21 HRs in 48 games from May 26th to July 20th.
How the fuck did that happen? What are the chances of it happening again? Time for Pujols to get back on the juice.

Go to an automatic strike zone and get rid of umpires who have their own definition of what a strike is. Stop always being 5 steps behind and be a step ahead for once. And either have a designated hitter or no designated hitter it's baseball it's not f ing rocket science. Stop playing two different damn games. I mean because the Dodgers play in LA and not Anaheim your going to have completely different rules do you know how dumb that sounds. Curry isn't shooting 3s in one arena and in a different arena they are 2s just idiotic.

I don't understand your comment the Steroid era had to happen? Yes it did and do you not realize that a majority of athletes in every profession sport are using some sort of performance enhancer. Most likely illegal, and have been probably since the 1960s or before. Go watch Bigger Faster Stronger on Netflix its a documentary on steroid use. It will blow your mind.

January? Hell they are being paid huge money to keep their bodies in the best physical shape. Panda showed up the size of an Elephant to spring training, and the dude thought he could just show up and play. Couldn't even fit into his pants. Contracts should definitely not be guaranteed.
