Trumboner44 reacted to robblin17 in Will Shohei be traded?
No. Too complicated for the morons that lead this organization.

Trumboner44 reacted to robblin17 in Gameday Thread: Angels vs A's (7/27/20)
Pujols is not a run producer. Pujols knack for "hitting in clutch situations" is just the narrative that has been shoved down our throats to justify one of the worst FA signings in American sports' history.
Pujols is trash and is one of the worst players in MLB. His ass should be firmly cemented on the pine. I don't give a fuck how many HR's he hit when he played for St. Louis. The guy is worthless outside of some sort of sentimental, kumbaya type reasoning.
He does nothing well other than field balls that he can actually get to, which isn't many.

Trumboner44 reacted to robblin17 in Mookie Betts and David Price to the Dodgers, Kenta Maeda to the Twins, Brusdal Graterol and Alex Verdugo to the Red Sox , Angels trade Luis Rengifo to the Dodgers for Joc Pederson
My Dodger buddy (he's a bitch), just texted me with this, "If you are getting Joc, you're getting a solid bat. He's grown up big time at the plate. One of our best hitters in the playoffs, too."

Trumboner44 got a reaction from Jeremiah in Does Baseball Favor RH’ers?
So, my friends and I were talking about left handed position players, specifically third basemen, shortstops, second basemen, and catchers.
The last left handed throwing catcher to play in the Major Leagues was Benny DiStefano. He caught three games for the Pirates in ‘89. Third and second basemen and shortstops go back even further.
My question for everyone is, “What would baseball be like if it was played backwards?”
Imagine, third base is first base and a shot hit to the first baseman gets thrown to the third baseman. Runners run to third first instead of first (clockwise).
Would Major League Baseball benefit from a developmental league that is played backwards for left handers? And, are right handed position players favored in the game of baseball?
Also, the Angels need two starting pitchers.

I’m getting sick of these threads. No offense to you OP, but this shit has been hashed and rehashed numerous times.

Trumboner44 reacted to robblin17 in Angels DFA Jonathan Lucroy
The guy was absolutely horrendous and one of the worst "catchers" I have ever seen. I don't know what the hell people from Oakland were talking about.
Rough FA class for Eppler:
Allen
Harvey
Lucroy
Bour
Cahill will probably make it through the year because no one cares if his arm falls off and he can eat some innings. No, you can't eat the innings literally, Trevor.
But, all one year deals!

Lifeless and apathetic. Just going through the motions. If it isn't obvious over the last 3+ years that nothing will change until he is gone then I don't know what would convince you. He had a great run but should have been gone two seasons ago.

What happened with Mathis has no bearing on how Trout will be dealt with.
