Someone will be the sacrificial lamb. I seriously doubt that Arte is going to put up with what he is seeing after pouring more money into the franchise. Though the pitching coach isn't the complete pitching problem, something is wrong with the overall philosophy, lack of preparation, and the inability to get certain flaws corrected. I'd say Mike Butcher won't be around for the rest of the season, and probably the same can be said for Eppard as well.

I'd love to see Percy back with the team in some capacity, but to say he will be a decent coach is absolutely a leap of faith. I hope he can bring the technical side of coaching as well as that winning aggressive attitude we all know he will bring.

I love Percy. Grew up in the same town he did, and of course watched him as an Angel. But unless he comes out of retirement and is able to pitch 7 innings every night, he'd be hard pressed to single handedly turn the team around.
