Would not want to trade Rengifo he is only 26. Before his injury one of top hitters on Angels. He can play all over the INF and OF. Taylor Ward will be 30 next year and to bring in younger players I would trade him.

San Diego cutting payroll so they are out. Seattle will not put up that kind of money so they are out. SF would spend but not winning every year so they are out. Angels 8 losing seasons so they are out. Dodgers maybe but they do not like 8 or 9 year deals. Dodgers win every year and really do not need Ohtani. JD Martinez on 10 mill to DH had nice year. Jason Heyward picked off scrap heap very nice year. So why would they spend 500 mill. I'm going out on limb and say it will be Cubs.

I keep Suarez he is young and was hurt last year. Only 1.1 mill. and Barria was horrible last year but in 2022 was solid again 1.5 mill not a lot.

This team will not be in running for a playoff spot in 2024. Many young players still need to develop. SP I sign a Lorenzen on a 1-year deal to fill out rotation. Sad to see Tyler Anderson will get a spot. Halos go thru same things next year will Rendon and Trout be healthy and with Ohtani gone it does open up DH for both of them. Angels do have some decent young starters in Canning, Silseth, Sandoval and Detmers. Hopefully they canstill improve.
