If I can get deep for a moment, sometimes it really frustrates me when I hear fans call a player garbage or say he sucks or doesn’t care or any of that stuff, since I have talked to these guys and watched them and I know they are giving it all they have and when they fail, they hate it. The major leagues are hard and the difference between fans loving you and hating you is often pretty small.

I covered the Giants throughout all that and it was pretty amazing to watch, regardless of whatever help he had.

WHEN ARE WE GOING TO RETIRE TIM SALMON’S NUMBER??
A career Angels who led the team is various categories during his time. He still works with the Angels doing pre games on Fox Sports West and NO ONE has worn number 15 since. 
This is something that needs to be done. Get it done, Angels. It’s been way too long. 

I wouldn’t use the word disgust. I don’t really care if they lose. 
I was more just reflecting the mood of the fans. 

There was an obsession about extending Trout.  The fantasy was "wouldn't it be great if they just got it done and we could just enjoy having Trout and get out if this obsession over the unresolved?"
Well he signed and the board is jammed up with the new obsession of digging up old threads about extending Trout.
I may be alone on this but can we turn the page now?

Trout even studied videos and watched hitters before the last few drafts, and personally lobbied for the Angels to draft outfielder Jo Adell in 2017. They drafted, signed him, and Trout even gave him his cell phone number, telling him to call whenever he needed anything.
