Please don't waste money on Freese. Having two close to major league ready 3rd baseman leaves you with insurance in case on doesn't pan out. I'm pretty confident Cowart will be just what we need at the hot corner. I agree upgrading left field, second base, and the bullpen are the priorities. And whoever brought up the Solarte idea I really like that thought. He would significantly strengthen the bench and could be the utility infielder until Baldoquin can take over that spot. Also, if an Ace falls into their lap this offseason than go for it and trade Santiago. If not, we shouldn't blow all of our resources on one starting pitcher

Yeah, more power to you for staying positive but this team just isn't any good ,man. The offense is brutal, pitching is questionable at best and super inconsistent. The bullpen is absolutely awful outside of street and smith (who hasn't been the same). I was just thinking about what a bummer this season has been because the offseason will be here soon and we all will be wishing for some baseball.

I've been trying to stay positive and had hoped that this team has a run in it but it just isn't happening I'm done getting my hopes up. They don't do anything well and Mike Trout has disappeared. It's a tough year to be an Angels fan, I hope they can pull it together soon but who knows. Frustrating and discouraging to say the least.

The starting pitching has been unbelievable and for how often everyone bitches the bullpen it has been very good, even salas has been good in his 6th or 7th inning spots for the most part. Gott has been a god send, and just like last year when you have the 8th and 9th locked down its easy to mix and match a bridge from your starter to Smith and Street.

The amount of stupidity in this thread is astounding.. The Giants won THREE World Series in five years and they were never playoff worthy? How can you even dislike that organization as an Angels fan? They draft, develop their own players, careful about the players they sign, keep a decent payroll but not outrageous, have the nicest ballpark in MLB, aren't in our division, are the Dodgers biggest rival. There really isn't anything to dislike about them.

This really isn't a playoff team in any facet to be honest with you. Can't build momentum, can't do well in clutch situations, can't hit with 2 outs, can't finish off innings with 2 outs, can't hit very well, no frontline starter, shaky bullpen. As much as I've been waiting for this team to wake up maybe it's not going to happen and this is a .500 or a little better team.

It's just bizarre how every single guy on the roster slumps at the same time.

Doesn't every message bored have guys who think they are and expert and don't even bother to do the homework before talking? I know I'm guilty of that, that's why I like this site there is always someone to step in with some cool stat or argument to see a different perspective
