The name "David DeJesus" just sounds like a prototypical leadoff hitter. Scrappy player, gets on base, steals bases, runs fast, etc.

 

Remember, Scioscia manages by feel. No need for stats to clutter the mind.

Four of tonight's starting players were not on the 25 man roster to start the season. Three were not on the 40 man two weeks ago not including Victorino that is on the bench.

 

This is barely the team they broke Spring Training with.
