I'm sorry but if you didn't like that emotion go watch friggin golf now that tiger is gone.  After what happened to them the prior inning, and the general emotion of it all, i find no flaw in it at all.
Rangers or fans that don't like it, tough cookie... you liked getting over the previous inning on a lame call i haven't seen since t-ball.  Keep the ball in the yard you don't have this problem.

So would the Rangers have if they had done that when they stole a run the previous half inning, but they didn't either so, moot.
Frankly even if they hadn't i disagree... there is nothing whatever wrong with emotion from these players.  He knows hes gonna get plunked at some point, im sure he will smile when it happens and trade that for this every time.
People are turning into pussy whipped bitches in sports, some guys i grew up watching would give pitchers nervous breakdowns on the mound today.
Who was Dyson really mad at after all?

this is a question of extenuating circumstances though, it really is... the flip in and of itself was a bit excessive, but considering the nonsense the previous half inning, i cant attach anything to it.

rule is the problem, not the play.  we see that happen all the time, literally, once or twice a week at least... yet noone cares till its the playoffs with national media attention and the game gets egg on its face.
Utley shouldn't be suspended, heck the same thin g has been done to him... it sucks a player got injured but you cant punish the guy for this with a straight face and potentially affect the playoffs.
Fix the rule in the off season, stop the nonsense, and lets move on.

Not gonna lie, this is one of those seasons that makes you want to just find another team to watch.  Been watching this team for 40 years now, and i don't recall a stretch of years that have left me less happy about being a fan of the club.  So much promise, so much potential, and in the end even with a solid stretch run we are left unfulfilled, under achieving, and basically looking like a monkey f#@$king a football.   I do not get how it went so bad so fast, i truly don't, it just makes no sense.  So many bad moves made by so many people in so many areas.
I think i liked this club better when we acting like middle market, a least then we knew what we were, these last few years of trying to be large market large payroll behemoths have resulted in this?  We talk a big game but we don't seem to want to back it up.  Its inexcusable to me that the club stepped up to make some big dollar signings then when we got close to the luxury tax suddenly got penny wise.  As much as any under achieving player i feel the front office failed at least as bad in recent years.   ...and i wont even talk about the manager, its so far past tie for a change here.

In the immortal words of Jack Nicholson's Joker, This club needs an enema.

I'll never give up being a fan of this club but right now its very hard to have any hope for the next few seasons unless Arte finds his wallet in a major way and we get a GM with a brain that can tell Sven where to get off.

Noone on that list will be an Angel next year.
Nor will anyone else with a high dollar value.
Im so utterly disappointed at this team right now i have zero faith this gets fixed in the next 2-3 years.   We simply dont have the farm to fix the problems and are unwilling to go over the lux tax so... until some big money drops off we are toast.

Why the Hades do people want to sign MORE SP that will costs too much when its the strength of the current roster?
Especially considering we have more holes on the offense than your average round of swiss cheese.
I dont get this board, im convinced some here wont be happy till we have 10 all star starting pitchers on the roster... of course we would still lose every game 1-0 cause we would never score any runs so ... kinda moot really.

So much of this is based on what we "know" which is tto say we dont really know much but....

FO failed, assuming it ever had a chance.  If Arte's/Sven is calling the shots it was moot but we should have made several moves to salvage the season and went to kmart instead.

Manager, failed, time to move on.  His game lives in the past, baseball has moved beyond gut feelings and instincts.

Owner, well IF he is meddling its his prerogative, its his money, but someone should remnd he he made his money in advertising, not running baseball teams.

There are thing you blame the manager for... losing the team, is paramount, but the team playing like they dont care is another.
No, they are not responsibile for performance, ive said that many times myself, but attitude, the general mentality of the team, yeah, thats on them, and im sick and tired of seeing him tip his cap and turn the page, get pissed man losing sucks.
Scoscia needs to help them accountable, and himself... turn the page is a nice attitude after one tough loss, not seasons of it
