How many GMs and or Managers do we need to go thru before we realize none of them were the problem?

It was clear to the fans what this team was, and yet they insisted it was something else.  Before the last few years they never outright lied to us.  Thats what i take exception to.
I dont expect them to lay out the entire plan, but a little honestly and a lot less patronizing wouldnt suck.
 

It would achieve a lot of they would just be honest with us as fans.
None of the "there are no limits", or the other silliness weve been told year after year... IF we lose fans that will be the why.
I supported this team when it was horrible, i will again, but i wont support being played and/or lied to.

I thought they would be close, but Rendon down again, Neto and Schanuel not hitting, and too many journeymen in the daily lineup with no real options coming from a bottom 5 farm.
This could be the worst shape the org has ever been in.
Sidenote; Yes i know Sano is hitting now but hes not keeping 300 thru Aug

Youre not getting ace level guys, pitching or hitting, drafting middle of the rounds without getting very lucky.

Ive been a low key Giants fan for a bit now... my daughter lives up there so weve been hitting up games and its really a great place to watch baseball in my opinion.

Then he should rebuild... but he wont as it will hurt the ticket sales.

Im honestly a bit tired of this narrative.
I highly doubt we value it any differently, but the better question is where were we supposed to have gotten it in recent years?  Lets not forget weve now lost two men who should still be in our rotation to off field deaths in the last decade.    Two guys we got right, that arent here for non baseball reason.  2/5th of a rotation.
You draft mid to late rounds you are guessing, and usually better off taking the best athlete overall in hopes of trading them for what you actually need.
The draft is largely a crap shoot with a bunch of kids years away from actually being anything.
You could ask the same question as to why 24 teams passed on Trout as you could Walker Bueller as they were taken within picks of each other numerically.
Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you dont, at the end of the day you have to both hit and pitch.

Honestly, Im glad to hear that your experience was different than my own, perhaps things have mellowed in the last few years.
I tend to be too vocal and opinionated so i find at times its better to just stay away to avoid the dogpile, it isnt like there is any real debate in politics these days anyway.

Thats pretty much what it will take.
Not high on Anderson would prefer Moose for 3B as we all know well likely need one at some point.
But, yeah, Snell, Bellinger, Hoskins, Moose ... thats what its going to take to actually be in the post mix.
Is that realistic, probably not, but thats real. 
I still believe if Arte isnt willing to do that, then we should do a full rebuild.  Playing 500ish ball is making us worse, not better, its time for something drastic one way or the other.
