3-4 years from now I might really regret this deal ... but jesus ... the shit we've had to deal with for the past few years has nearly made me leave this team behind as a fan.
 
Sure signing Pujols might not amount to anything as far as wins ... or playoff appearances etc .... but it gives hope and that's really not something we've had in a while.
 
Its not my money ... and its becoming quite clear you need to be willing to spend money to compete. The Angels also have the TV deal money coming shortly.

Look, I hate the Rangers.  Ton of d-bags on that team, and even if there weren't, they're our division rival.  I just thought some posts, Chuck's in particular, sounded a little silly. "Screw their awesome prospect". "Screw their middle infielders, who are pretty damn comparable, if not better, than our middle infielders."  I know Chuck and others are just venting, I just think it makes Angels fans seem pathetic to be criticizing other organizations right now, particularly a division rival that has run circles around us in recent years.

Yeah, man. That 2b with a considerable injury history who still manages to average 5 war over an entire season is just terrible. And that shortstop who's putting up 4 war seasons before the age of 25 sucks. Oh, and that 20-year-old learning the ropes in MLB is overrated because he didn't become the AL MVP.
