Also, given the very clear shift in results as soon as Bane lost control and left, I've always been confused as to why he didn't land an equivalent job after.

I remember Torii's BABIP was crazy in his final year and being fine with them moving on, thinking it was unsustainable. Turns out he just changed his approach and was able to repeat it for a little while longer.

Trout is real into weather and storms. So I think he'll resign here to enjoy our weather variety.

If we're smart, we trade him to some team shittier than us. Then post pics of us on social media partying and always looking happy.

It must suck.

Not sure in the division makes much of a difference when Maldanado is a free agent at the end of the year and the Astros/Angels aren't competing for anything this year...Astros are preparing to defend World Series titles, Angels are trying to break the record for most Tommy John surgeries in a 12 month period.

I liked Maldo. Sucks to see him go, loved watching him throw out runners. But at least we got back what sounds to be a decent return. And good for Maldo, will get to go to the playoffs.
