I will be skipping this movie. I have been in a sharknado before. It took years of therapy to get that terrible day out of my mind. I don't want to do anything that might bring on flashbacks.

The original knock on Miami was a lack of depth when they signed Bosh and James but they went out and added bench and role players to address their needs.  Paul, Harden and Howard could do the same thing for Houston and attract aging vets and young role players to fill needs.

...and it says that Bonds was the victim of a terrible injustice.
 
...and it does absolutely NOTHING to disprove that Bonds used steroids.
 
Furthermore, it goes on to talk about guys that have had that "inexplicable" career year, and how common it is.
 
The problem with this defense of Bonds is the track record of everybody else that had such years and claimed to be clean.
 
McGwire claimed to be clean, and later admits to steroid use over a 10 year period, including his 70 HR season.

Sosa claimed to be clean, and tested positive in 2003. I'm sure he didn't use in the years he was blasting the living sh*t out of baseballs.
 
ARod admits to using in a certain time period. It coincides with his hitting 10 and then almost 20 more HRs than in the season prior.
 
If you don't want to look at anomalies because you feel that they aren't appropriate in a discussion of steroids, that's just picking and choosing to suit your needs.
 
If you think anomalies don't help win WS titles or shatter records, which is where everybody's problems truly lie... well then: they do.
 
Anomalies are important. They are the cases which grab the attention of people. They are the things that give the organization that you root for a title in 1989.

They have absolutely no effect on performance. Just ask your screen name.

He hasn't juiced in the past, and even if he had, no baseball player would be stupid enough to juice again after being popped for roiding.
 
Look at Arod, for example. He got caught and never juiced again.

I find it funny that anybody thinks that he feels that this is actually going to be the case. That kind of a response seems to be based on emotion. You should be aware of what you're doing as well.

I don't get quite why anybody is arguing against the initial post. It's pretty obvious that mancini realizes that the Angels are 10 games out. You know how you can tell he realizes this? All of the teams he cites were way the hell out of first place, and he's not citing them as being the norm.
 
Is it some kind of protective mechanism for you guys? Are you concerned about mancini?

Honestly, man.  There are so many families out there desperate to adopt, if we spent more time educating people about adoption I think we would be in a good place.
 
As a parent, and I am sure all the other parents on this board can attest, there is nothing in life that compares.  There are so many people out there wanting to be parents that cannot, give them a chance instead of aborting a 20+ week old fetus.
 
For me it has nothing to do with religion, more of responsibility.  The more we give people the easy way out, the more they will not consider the consequences.
