Brandon got a reaction from Vegas Halo Fan in Sharon Stone named suspect in French jewel theft
Sounds like the detective work is bush league. No way Sharon could snatch some jewels.

I wonder how much time in the box she'll get if convicted?

Brandon got a reaction from Jason in Gameday Thread vs Dodgers 5/29
Pretty pumped with the 91 more than the K.

Brandon got a reaction from Carlota Gonzalez in Angels, city start lease negotiations
I wouldn't mind a new stadium. I don't hate what we have, bit the newer ones are so much better.
Maybe one day people can stop the "of Anaheim" discussion and poor jokes. I really don't comprehend how people don't understand the business and financial ramifications of LA, but the contractual obligations of Anaheim simply because of sentiment.

Brandon got a reaction from The Ghost of Bob Starr in The poker boom
One of my favorite poker memories is playing with Moneymaker in one of the Sundays many years ago. I remember mentioning it here and a bunch of you dudes railed me. I will never forget chipping up and then slow playing aces that he cracked to cripple me. Trapping works until they get lucky and hit trips.

Brandon got a reaction from InsideThePark in Bands that have progressively gotten better
Oh man, can we revisit the thread from many years ago where people didn't like the bands music during the drummers od?

Brandon got a reaction from AZMike in Derek Lowe
This totally had the opportunity to title/headline as "Lowe DFA'd" just to mess with everyone before seeing it is Derek and not Mark.

Brandon reacted to Chuck in Jean Segura Has Set a Precedent
This is tired conversation on here. Not to mention, this is just another guy's opinion.
I would have traded for Greinke even knowing what Segura would do the following season.
Anytime you have a chance to add a player that can help you get to the playoffs and go far, plus have a good chance to re-sign him, you do it.

Tampa Bay, the Angels, and NASCAR.
Shit man.

Brandon got a reaction from Glen in 5 Technologies That Will Be Extinct 5 Years From Now
Glad to see laser discs not on there, so I'm safe.
I don't even know anyone that uses a DOT Matrix printer except car dealerships. Funny thing is I was talking to one of my IT guys about wireless NIC cards. Good times.

Brandon got a reaction from Torridd in LA Times: Owner Arte Moreno willing to take blame for Angels' slow start
He's right, but it won't suffice for the numbnutz here to continually post about cleaning house. Arte really put his neck on the line with the big name free agents to bring a perennial contender here but they are letting him down.

Brandon reacted to mulwin444 in LA Times: Owner Arte Moreno willing to take blame for Angels' slow start
Yeah, Arte is a "snake-oil salesman" who has only pursued the top free agents the past couple of years after hearing for years he's not willing to do what it takes to do just that - attract the best talent. What is he thinking keeping his payroll equivalent to the market his team plays in and trying to maximize his investments marketing potential.
I didn't like the Pujols or Hamilton signings but, come on, how is this his fault? If both of these two suck-holes would even approach what they've been capable of in previous seasons, the season is a little brighter. I don't think they'd be at .500 because the real issue is the SP+BP but the games would be a hell of a lot more exciting.

Brandon reacted to NJHalo in LA Times: Owner Arte Moreno willing to take blame for Angels' slow start
Lets face it, if Pujols and then Hamilton just produced to their career averages, we wouldn't be having this conversation

Brandon reacted to AngelsFaninGA in LA Times: Owner Arte Moreno willing to take blame for Angels' slow start
Playing the blame game gets us nowhere at this point. Who cares whose fault it is, just work on fixing it.

Brandon reacted to Mudville in Arte finally speaks
Moreno played baseball in high school, was part owner a minor league club, part owner of the Diamondbacks before purchasing the Angels for $184 million with a value today of $718 according to Forbes. He attends almost every Spring Training game in Tempe to see what sort of team he has going into the season. I doubt anyone on this message board has a resume close to Moreno's involvement in all the operational aspects of owning a team.
