I agree that that is the biggest failure of this organization. That being said I understand why he stepped away from Latin America, but we should have been back there by now.

Eppler has challenged his scouting group to find minor league free agents who can contribute on the big league level.

The Angels can now save some money by not fielding teams in AA & AAA this season, for lack of prospects. We now have nobody above ABall.

Neyer has always hated the Angels. He might say he loves it for the Angels, but he is thinking he really loves it more for ATL.

Braun should be available for a lot less. He should be considered strictly as a salary dump for the brewers.

I like Gordon more than Heyward. He is a doubles machine. And plays great defense. He would fill our LF hole cheaper than Heyward.  But i don't like the idea of giving up that pick for any player this year.This team is already hampered by bad contracts, and needs to get younger. And the team needs to start looking more to the future. Giving players huge contracts and giving up picks doesn't help the team in the long run.

Good point.  Personally I think Murphy's defense kills any chance of him returning anyway.

I look at his chances of becoming a MLB manager as this; If Larry Bowa was able to become a MLB Manager, then Ersty has a good chance.
