I completely understand giving players rest days but come on...do it on the road. Why deprive local fans of the ability to see their favorite player?

It's decision time with Kole. Either make Kole a 4th OF/Defensive replacement or send him down.
Kole is fortunate that his manager is the only guy in the world that would keep trotting him out there and allow him to kill the offense like this. Call up Blash/Hermosillo and give him the starting job, DFA Young.

Welp, I would say at this point, let's just give the closers gig to Justin Anderson moving forward and see how he responds.  

I agree with this if we wait until the deadline.  If we try to get him now the cost will be higher.  

Actually, I'd say Anderson is a very promising sign that we indeed are developing "those types."  Here's a guy who was throwing in the low 90s, then makes some adjustments/fixes in the offseason, and suddenly comes back in the spring pumping 98-99mph FBs with a wipeout slider.  I'd say he's exhibit A of the adjustments we are helping players make, and why it's reasonable to believe we might start cultivating more pitching talent in the very near future.  
Anderson's stuff looks great, and his stats only don't look good because he was overused in his last game (should have only pitched one inning).

@Jeff Fletcher has stated that Trout is like the leader in WPA for years now numerous times on here. And Trout is great in high leverage situations. His career slash line in that situation proves that. You can't always get clutch hit but last time I check, no one is perfect.

Again for the challenged..... why do we need 3 third baseman???????????????? We have Cozart already. We have Marte already. In a pinch probably even Kinsler or Fletcher could play 3B. I do not care that Valbuena can go out there and play crappy defense at 3B. A lot of guys could go out there and play crappy defense.... that does not make them versatile..... and even if it did I do not need 3 of them.

I think you guys are overvaluing Herrera's  trade value. Maybe if it was 2 years ago, it may have cost us a top 15 prospect to get him. Half a year of him will at most cost us somewhere around the bottom 15.
