Good job coming up with something that has never been discussed on this board.

Yep, and I wasn’t even here to tell them they were bitches.

Just a thought.
I really used to enjoy the gameday thread but the excessive whining and the fire Scioscia rants are making it less fun to participate.

I don’t care if they fire him. There is no harm in firing him. I don’t see the upside other see, because talent wins and this bullpen isn’t talented. I defend him against stupidity. Some of our dumbest narratives are about Scioscia.

Exactly. And his Steamer projection hasn't changed one bit since Opening Day, but he still makes misleading statements.

Ohtani has a higher K rate than both Severino and Syndergaard....

You’re just talking out of your ass bro, he’s a little homerun prone so far but he’s a rookie learning how to pitch in MLB on the fly. His stuff is outstanding, he just needs to learn that mistakes over the plate get crushed even if they are 99 mph fastballs. In japan he got away with pitches over the plate

And this is the part where I call bullshit.
First, if that was us, youd constantly harp about how weve outspent everyone but continue to lose in the playoffs to cheaper teams. And if anyone here mentioned how its hard enough just getting to the playoffs, youd point out that our rivals the giants won several rings with less money. In a bigger media market.
Youd point out we took on bostons bad contracts which got us nowhere, but helped boston rebuild. Youd point out how cleveland and houston also got to the playoffs for cheaper.
Youd point out how they overpaid guys which kept them from fixing their pen.
But more directly, as I asked, whats their problem this year?
Sorry claude. Your take over the thousands of broken record posts over the years doesnt support your last comment.

I think the dodgers have a shit culture. There’s always some problem in that clubhouse. Bellinger being insubordinate a week or 2 ago isn’t a great look for him or Roberts.
Scoscia never has these problems and doesn’t get enough credit for relative stability that the Angels always have. Other then Dipoto being a bitch and leaking shit to the media you just don’t hear anything out of the Angels club house. We’ve had rough years. We’ve had dumb players.
When the day comes that Scioscia isn’t the manager some of you babies might appreciate him more. You’ll maybe finally understand that no matter who the manager is you’re going to nit pick the line up or what reliever gets called in.

Not an issue of hurting feelings, it's an issue of being perceived as a great organization to work for. If we want to lure the best talent (both FO minds and players alike), it's ideal to maintain the perception of being a classy organization.
Obviously if Sosh was awful, then yes, move on. But IMO, he is not, he is merely just "average." He has been with us for what, 20 years? Let him serve out his term. We are performing ABOVE expectations currently, not below them. If we were 17-27 and significantly underachieving, then yeah, maybe we can consider moving on at this point. We're not, though.
Sosh did not sign Pujols, Hamilton, etc. The blunders of the past administration have had a significant lasting impact on our team and that is not his fault.

You...realize we are one of the most competitive teams in baseball, right? That we are almost certainly going to the playoffs this year, despite being in one of the strongest divisions in baseball?
Trolls gonna troll.

They played the Yankees and Red Sox at home.
I think it’s probably just a small sample size fluke.
