TroutField reacted to arch stanton in Gameday Thread: Rangers @ Angels (5/5/23): Anderson on the mound
What was fun about this is the Rangers lost in a way we've come to expect the Angels to lose

TroutField reacted to rafibomb in Gameday Thread: Rangers @ Angels (5/5/23): Anderson on the mound
Angels have the momentum and Barria just saved most of our bullpen. Rangers had to use 3 of their high-leverage guys.

TroutField reacted to REDneck in Gameday Thread: Rangers @ Angels (5/5/23): Anderson on the mound
F#cking impressive..I don't care if it was a wild pitch.
Playoff atmosphere after they tied it up!
Before the who won poll comes out...it was Estevez!!

Two improbable comebacks in 3 games.
Nice.

All we are missing here is that dumb troll from years ago that made the Rangers YouTube videos

TroutField reacted to mmc in Walsh has completed treatment, starting rehab assignment this Friday with Salt Lake
Glad we finally have a timetable on a timetable

TroutField got a reaction from HaloBronco in Gameday Thread: Angels @ Cardinals (5/4/23 10:15am): Canning on the mound, Neto leading off, no Trout
Stuck at work all day and just saw the final. Glad to get the sweep!
I can’t believe Neto played today, I thought for sure he would miss 2-3 days , at least. Grit!
with all that said, would be nice for Canning, Anderson, Detmers, and Suarez to start pitching better overall. Outside of Ohtani and Sandoval the starters have been quite shaky. All in all, I’m very happy to see the angels record after 32 games, Rangers had a ridiculous offensive month while the angels still haven’t played their best baseball and they couldn’t get any distance on us, should be a fun summer if we stay healthy! And should be getting O’hoppe back for a potential playoff push.

TroutField reacted to jsnpritchett in Neto's first three weeks
So, like I thought, you didn't read it. Dumb comment to make on this article in particular. There's absolutely nothing dramatic or negative in it, nor anything that feels like it comes from a "TMZ reporter."

TroutField reacted to Taylor in Next Round of MLB Expansion Thread - Nashville, Portland, Salt Lake, Charlotte, Montreal, Orlando all on radar
Salt Lake would be crappy because of the elevation.
-
TroutField reacted to James in Next Round of MLB Expansion Thread - Nashville, Portland, Salt Lake, Charlotte, Montreal, Orlando all on radar
Portland? Salt Lake would be better and lets not help Seattle with travel at all. Nashville has too much behind it for it not to happen at some point.

TroutField reacted to Make Angels Great Again in Next Round of MLB Expansion Thread - Nashville, Portland, Salt Lake, Charlotte, Montreal, Orlando all on radar
Orlando has to be by far the lowest probability in this list.
my money is on Nashville and Montreal

TroutField reacted to totdprods in Carlos Estevez
Blown save incoming.
we need to just stop talking about the Angels tbh.

TroutField reacted to BTH in OC Register: Mike Trout’s 9th-inning homer keys Angels’ victory over Cardinals
In the updated story, you mentioned that Trout was fired up. And Gubi mentioned on the broadcast that Trout was especially fired up after the final out was recorded.
@Jeff Fletcher, Is there video of that? Maybe on the special MLB site that reporters have access to?

TroutField got a reaction from ten ocho recon scout in Just saw this article.... "Fact or fiction: Could Shohei Ohtani be traded to Pittsburgh Pirates?"
Ohtani want to win so he would head to…. Pittsburgh ?
after 3 months in Pennsylvania Ohtani might have zero problem running back to Orange County. This might work out, actually.

TroutField reacted to HaloSpurs in Gameday Thread (5/3/23): Angels @ Cardinals - Ohtani on the mound
So fired up after that. Cannot fall asleep. This team needed this sort of win and hopefully can give them the momentum and belief needed for the week ahead.

TroutField reacted to Blarg in Anthony Rendon: The Resurgence
Ohtani wasted his own start, the team bailed his ass out.
-
TroutField got a reaction from Slegnaac in Gameday Thread (5/3/23): Angels @ Cardinals - Ohtani on the mound
@Slegnaaci was frustrated when Renfore struck out with runners at 2nd and 3rd. All i did was state something that has been a bit of a trend this year. My bad for jumping to conclusions.

TroutField reacted to Docwaukee in Gameday Thread (5/3/23): Angels @ Cardinals - Ohtani on the mound
This team is five wins better defensively with Neto at SS.
(maybe that's a slight exaggeration)

TroutField reacted to Inside Pitch in Gameday Thread (5/3/23): Angels @ Cardinals - Ohtani on the mound
I'm sure the byline tomorrow from Heyman will be.. "Angel's Lamb bails out Ohtani"
-
TroutField reacted to Jason in Gameday Thread (5/3/23): Angels @ Cardinals - Ohtani on the mound
It’s not a secret that he hasn’t been all that clutch in his career. Hopefully they make the post season this year so we can see what he can do

Just glad that these Angels players get to experience some real fans according to Pujols
