There's nothing wrong with a group of people gathering to worship a God of their choosing with a goal of helping their community or those less fortunate in the world. I haven't been to a church in years, but I still believe that most churches are run by and include people that behave well and have good intentions. This case is, of course, gross. But to suggest that it in any way represents Christianity or religion in general, isn't correct either. Some people are terrible and exploitative. It's just a human thing, but the faith behind it is not the cause.

Agreed. I just love his mental makeup. He doesn't let his ego control him. And he's mature enough to, despite how great he is, take a look at his overall game, find areas he can improve in, then work his ass off to do it. That's a true pro.

You're right about the playing time thing Oz. It's a concern; but unfortunately quality backup catchers that can put up decent numbers on offense are an extremely scarce commodity.

This is where things get weird with minors and sex laws. If a fifteen year old girl sends a naked picture of herself to her 15 year old boyfriend, that boyfriend is now in possession of child pornography and could be labeled a sex offender. This makes a pretty big percentage of teenage boys sex offenders under the letter of the law. And God forbid this happens with a 16 and 18 year old. I think laws regarding the sexual exploitation of minors are really well-intentioned, but they're sometimes misapplied by overzealous investigators or prosecutors.

The lighter is my go to method. Works well every time. But one must be careful with Guinness. Those things will hit the ceiling when you pop them off.

There was a game in Texas in September 2004 where Vlad hit a chest high fastball damn near a foot off the plate inside for a home run to left. That was the game that started his ridiculous run to end that season. I just remember a feeling after that game of "We got this. Vlad is going into full Hulk mode." It exemplified one of the things that only Angels and Expos fans really understood... Vlad could hit this ridiculous level for a few weeks at a time where you just knew he'd destroy whoever was pitching on any given night.

Probably a bit of both. No new tax here, and we've seen a 25 cent spike in the last two weeks or so.
