Not being the Rangers Orioles or Royals does not diminish the disappointment
Yeah, but saying this season is the most disappointing season since '95 is somewhat hyperbole as the season isn't over yet. Although I respect you feeling that way especially with the way the team is playing, and all of the injuries.

lol we're 41-39
I wouldn't put the season in the refrigerator with the lights out, the doors closed, eggs cooling, and the butter getting hard quite yet. Yeah we have been slowly fading towards under .500 territory, but at least we aren't the Rangers, Orioles or the Royals.

Me not being shocked that our crappy bullpen gave up HRs:

He over-corrects too much on his FB, its either obviously out of the zone, or way in on the plate. Even if you throw 99 if you can't control it, or if it doesn't have any late movement then it makes the ball hit harder/farther. He has better command of his slider than his FB, but he isn't ready to be put into these situations yet. He needs more time to develop.

People blaming the bullpen are clearly not watching.
I just watched, with my own two eyes, Justin Anderson come in from the bullpen and allow Pearce to hit a HR. Yeah the 1B Ump botched the strike call, but you gotta buck up and throw damn strikes.

Does anyone know if there are statistics of how many Hall of Famers have played for their home team (or relatively close to their home)?
That is actually a really good question. If it's not available I might write some scripts to parse the information of the current Hall of Famers, their teams, and their hometown to see what comes up. Never thought about it until now. To be continued (If the info isn't already available). I wonder what an acceptable answer would be if a player was born in say Buffalo, NY and played for the Yankees, would that count? I would think it should.

Perchance are you both members of Duran Duran? Roger, is that you?
Nope not THAT John Taylor sorry, I do play bass though, and I was totally a Wide Receiver for the 49ers back in the 80s
The other guy could be the drummer of Queen.

Hopefully an honorable umpire will eject this coward for flipping his bat.
Fake News! That cowardly bat keeps trying to flip away from Luis Valbuena

Styles vs Rusev Day at Extreme Rules for the WWE Title; it was interesting that Styles and Rusev shook hands after the gauntlet matches were over, but Aiden English refused to.
Rusev face turn forthcoming? He's already getting the pop with "Rusev Day!".
My fear is that this will setup a split between Rusev and Aiden English, which means Aiden will most likely cost Rusev the title during the match. Rusev is better with a +1 be it Lana or Aiden, and also the Rusev Day stuff has been great for Aiden as well. Just let them both be faces, its okay Vince.

It looks like a lot of fun. That is awesome of you to invite members from here.
One thing that really impresses me about Chuck is that he has this uncanny ability to treat everyone like a longtime friend. Even the weirdos like us who troll his message board. It's a personality trait I wish I had. Also he could most likely kick the crap out of anyone of who gets out of line, the dude is jacked.
