  1. Trout would have collapsed that wall under his massive weight.

Sorry I really haven't been on the "Fat Trout" bandwagon, but when he jumped for that ball, i cringed at how fast the Earth's gravitational pull brought Trout back to the ground.

  2. These stats are worthless at the moment ... check back in 30 days or better yet the All-Star break.

That would make for an interesting dilemma at the end of the season. All of a sudden the first 30 games stats are missing, and people are like: "Why are we missing 30 games worth of stats?"

..."Oh well Troll Daddy said they are worthless so we kind of just didn't count them."

  3. I normally wouldnt worry since he is a deception-type pitcher, and there are plenty of players in the league who say they least wanted to face him, but there gets to a point where a fastball can't really be called a fastball, and hovering around 85-86 MPH, that's a little league fastball.

I trust Weaver's skills as a pitcher, and his ability to adapt, but I worry that he isn't a bonafide ace anymore.

  4. * Pujols continues to look good with plate discipline this year, he is above the Mendoza line, and isn't swinging out of the zone nearly as much as he started off last year.

    * Hamilton went from .050 to .160 in one game. He actually said after the game that he found a mechanical flaw in his swing during BP, he wasn't "Coiling up" like he usually does, he definitely looked more comfortable in the batters box yesterday.

    * Trumbo rising: With the exception of one at bat where he looked pretty bad, Trumbo is making better contact with the bat, he had one opposite field fly out that looked well hit, also rose his batting average to .280.

    * Trout looks pretty average so far, dropped to .250.

    * Bourjos putting up an MVP like 1.135 OPS!...okay okay he has only had 12 at-bats.

    * Williams and Richards looked good; Weaver, and Lowe...not so much, but the season is still young, although an 86 MPH fastball is worrisome from Weaver.

  5. So Pujols went from zero to hero in one day. We can call him an Iannetta the new "Bash Bros"

Trout has progressively been getting better.

Hamilton stinks so far, but I think he is trying too hard, and he is already a free swinger.

Our pitching staff (besides Blantana) isnt tooo bad...yet....

...and the team's lack of stolen bases disturbs me.....

  6. John Taylor here, i was jtaylor944 on the old board, I did a "Red Onion" article, and created the satire website "Fake Halos News", this year i decided to go more serious because I'm a stats nerd, and created "he Halo Report" which is kind of a simple stats based website about the Angels. When I did the satire thing it was quite fun because I was able to come up with stuff of the top of my head that was pretty funny, but then I started putting pressure on myself, i kind of lost the "mojo" to do it anymore (and stay funny), so i went legit, lol

Born in HB, family were season ticket holders from '86 to 2002, now live in Idaho, representing Angels love here in the land of potatoes!
