There is some upside with his speed, but it seems we've collected a lot of these types over this offseason.

I like the Torreyes pickup.  He has always hit in the minors, good OBP, and low K numbers.  Johnny G will need to be sharp this spring to keep his job.

I would rather Kubitza and Cowart battle it out over 3B, and platoon at 2B with some combination of Escobar, Kubitza, and Giovatella.

Cespedes makes the most sense, because we wouldn't forfeit the draft pick.  Have to start rebuilding the farm system.

then they should go after Maeda and make some pitching expendable in trade.  but alas.....

Gordon and Grienke were my choices.  Grienke would be our hammer to team with Richards, and Gordon is the perfect LF compliment.  Plays great defense, and bats left.  Also, no character issues from either.
