AngelStew43 got a reaction from Vegas Halo Fan in Anyone hear Vin Scully on Mike Trout?
The ultimate compliment. And if anyone should know, after more than 60 seasons watching the game, it would be Vin Scully.

AngelStew43 got a reaction from VariousCrap in Lincecum Close To Signing With Angels
No it isn't. Fernando was done when we picked him up. Lincecum is still throwing the ball well enough to be a 4-5 starter, maybe even a 3.

AngelStew43 got a reaction from Angel Oracle in Do you want Weaver to be in a Halo uniform after this season
It was BP the second time through last night. If Mike keeps throwing him out there, he'll finish with an ERA of about 11.00.

AngelStew43 got a reaction from Angel Oracle in Braves trade Jhoulys Chacin to Angels
Good move by Eppler. Maybe it means we won't have to watch so many balls fly out of the park when Shoemaker pitches!
-
AngelStew43 reacted to totdprods in Braves trade Jhoulys Chacin to Angels
Before his last start where he got bombed by the Mets, he was sporting a 3.27 ERA through 22 IP - 0 HRs allowed, only 4 walks, 23 Ks.
To get this for a no name minor leaguer is a great deal.

AngelStew43 got a reaction from Tank in Richards needs TJ Surgery and maybe Heaney too
Sign Lincecum and hope he can eat some innings for the next two years. Bring Danks in once he clears waivers, at the ML minimum, and hope for the same. And bring Kendrick up, because right now, this is all we can do.

AngelStew43 got a reaction from Angel Oracle in Angels have a big chance to improve in the next couple days
Rays will have to release Loney. Nobody will touch that 8 mil. He then signs for the ML minimum, with Tampa paying the balance.
-
AngelStew43 got a reaction from Angel Oracle in Angels sign Javy Guerra
I like the Guerra move. Now, if we can find a taker for Salas, I'd be really happy.
-
AngelStew43 got a reaction from Angel Oracle in Andre Ethier in play
The Dodgers, with their recent moves, Kazmir, etc., are loaded in LHSP. No chance we get Eithier.

AngelStew43 got a reaction from Angel Oracle in Mets Release Darrell Ceciliani
There is some upside with his speed, but it seems we've collected a lot of these types over this offseason.
-
AngelStew43 got a reaction from LAAMike in Angels claim Ronald Torreyes from Yankees
I like the Torreyes pickup. He has always hit in the minors, good OBP, and low K numbers. Johnny G will need to be sharp this spring to keep his job.

AngelStew43 got a reaction from NachoPop in Orange County Register: Don't bet on Howie Kendrick return to Angels
I would rather Kubitza and Cowart battle it out over 3B, and platoon at 2B with some combination of Escobar, Kubitza, and Giovatella.
I understand Arte's position about wanting to get so much dead money off the books.
Besides, any team with Mike Trout on it has a better than average chance to win.

AngelStew43 got a reaction from Vegas Halo Fan in Heyward to Cubs
Cespedes makes the most sense, because we wouldn't forfeit the draft pick. Have to start rebuilding the farm system.

AngelStew43 got a reaction from Inside Pitch in Morosi: Angels, Cubs, Cards finalists for Heyward
So, Arte pays for potential? 220 million for 13 HR and 70 RBI? I think we should get off of this train and sign Maeda for half that amount, and use the excess SP to trade for a LF.

AngelStew43 reacted to Docwaukee in Arte waffling on going over the luxury tax.
then they should go after Maeda and make some pitching expendable in trade. but alas.....

AngelStew43 got a reaction from meat in Which Big Free Agent OF and SP do you hope the Angels sign?
Gordon and Grienke were my choices. Grienke would be our hammer to team with Richards, and Gordon is the perfect LF compliment. Plays great defense, and bats left. Also, no character issues from either.
This is most important.
