  1. What's next? To speed up the game the count starts at 1-1?
  2. Hmmm. "The Los Angeles Angels announced Tuesday they placed closer Huston Street on the disabled list with inflammation in his right knee." Chance for Scioscia to stay the Street is still the closer but have a way to see other guys in the role?
  3. Better be a bench guy, because we all know he will tear his UCL
  4. This one? http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2016/02/predicting-tommy-john-surgeries.html
  5. How long until the opponents given Trout the Harper treatment done by the Cubs. With the weak hitters behind him, why would any team pitch to Trout, ever. I wouldn't. IBB each plate appearance. Take chances with the "Double Play Machine" and the rest of the guys that can't hit their weight.
  6. At least one, the 2010 SF Giants went 1-9 from June 23 to July 2nd with a 7 game losing streak in that run. There could be more, but since I only looked at the first WS winner in this decade I think that's good enough.
  7. If I was the opponent, I would give Trout an intentional walk every time and pitch to Pujols. Wouldn't want Trout to beat me, let the older guy see if he still has it. And it looks liek he doesn't.
  8. Wally Joyner is available, quit today as hitting coach for the Phillies, wants to be a head hitting coach: http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/blogs/Wally-Joyner-departs-Phillies-coaching-staff-as-Pete-Mackanin-returns.html
  9. A bounce back net would be a better option behind the plate.
  10. But what started their turnaround was a blockbuster deal where the Red Soxs dumped a LOT of salaries, then had a management change. I don't see the Angels offering up guys like Albert or Hamilton; many teams interested; or a manager change.
  11. Only if Trout can select Blanton as his HR Derby pitcher.
