I'd like to see him back next season - he's 34 not time to retire - maybe and hopefully he realizes it's not gonna be a big contract . With so many question marks with our starting pitching why not bring him back as long as the money works 

Jered is worth more to the club than just stats.His presence on the team gives others a winning-never-give-up attitude that can be infectious. He's a warrior. His second half had many better games than the first, when his fastball ticked up a notch.
How could it be bad to give him an incentive -laid contract? 

I like it - why not give him a shot - could be good for us 

Snake bit by injuries this team can only hope to sell fans a chance at seeing Trout be Trout and .... Watch Albert climb the all time home run list - even if he is batting .190 ... Little bit of value there not much though

I think the 2015 team is a 90 plus win team and I think a division win / playoff run is a strong possibility . I am maybe more concerned than the average fan about the loss of Kendrick  both offensively and defensively . I get that he never won that batting title but his production will be missed - there really isn't anyone on the current roster that will put up his numbers in my opinion. Every time I hear " Hamilton better step up to replace Howie's numbers " I laugh , then cry a little.
     I also think we have taken for granted how solid the combo of Kendrick / Aybar was up the middle . We are going to see a drop off if Green is our guy at 2b . I get that we needed young cost controlled pitching long term and the deal gave us that but this season I think we will miss Howie quite a bit

I just kind of stopped him in the aisle and said " you must be Percy from the Angelswin board " he looked at me shook my hand and I think he was amused that I treated him like a celebrity . I'll miss him on these boards and I'll miss seeing that hat in the stands st ST .

homegrown guy had a really good season - keep him no reason to trade him

agreed - this was a great season - it hurts today but overall we have to be glad to be s part of a great season from our team I'm hoping this taste of the postseason leaves our guys hungry to get back next year with better results

It was a great season - best record in baseball - tough way for it to end - there's a good chance we have a great team next season - with a healthy Richards the rise of Shoemaker a full season of Street etc Etc

It was one game - one ugly frustrating game but I still fully believe that this team will come back strong tonight and that we will win this series - Go Angels !!! ( my optimism doesn't extend to Hamilton though - although I believe we will win this series despite him )

Great read - I'm thrilled that Weaver my favorite Angel gets the ball tomorrow night - I think it will be a great game
