Just getting this ramped up. Dude is 0-2 and looks like an amateur as a manager.

Might be the worst opening day rotation in the 20 years I've been a fan.

I work from home fortunately. I remember playing hooky from school in the past.

Terrible to hear. He wasn't always great here as a player, but everyone in the clubhouse seemed to love him and he seemed like a good dude. That's what matters. RIP.

"skus" or "Jeter skus" - A board member (Was it @FabulousFabregas?) Got thrown out of an Angel game. I believe the story goes: He kept saying "Jeter Sucks!" at the game, then got a warning from an usher. Then he said "Jeter skus!" and got thrown out? Something to that effect.
True story. Usher was a Jeter loving snowflake.

If the Angels were playing like these two teams there would be nothing but howling how Scioscia was Facking up.
He probably is texting them both advice. They did used to coach under him.

Nice job putting that together Chuck.
I've busted Scioscia's balls on here for years and am thrilled he's finally gone, but it's always been about baseball and his decisions when it's come to my criticism and trolling (and for shits and giggles). He seems like a good dude, I wish him well. I was moved by the years too, and his comments definitely made me nostalgic for the good times.
I will always be thankful for when he was one of the best managers in baseball for most of the 2000's. Maybe he can recapture that fire he used to have with a new team.

Scioscia was a great manager from 2000 until 2008 or so. Will always appreciate what he did for this franchise in those years, but he should have been gone for at least 6 years now. Maybe he can do better with a new team without the complacency. This was a long time coming!

I don't see how anybody actually had expectations of this team not being hot garbage this year. When it's hard to keep track of who is on the pitching staff and you're filling out the lineup with jabronis like Justin Bour, you've got problems. They either should have gone all in and signed/traded for some guys, or traded the few valuable pieces they have (Simmons/Ohtani/Upton) and do a total rebuild around Trout. Arte's approach of spending, but not going all in and signing cheap guys to fill out the roster, and kind of trying to rebuild the farm, but not completely, is not working at all.
