LBHalos17 got a reaction from mp170.6 in And in police shenanigans
Exactly! That's why I said "still"... That was the old joke; the Post Office would hire anybody. Now it's TSA.... Bwahahaha

LBHalos17 reacted to Tank in Amazing photos of Tsarnaev's apprehension
He's topical and his story is a topical one right now. It doesn't bother me that he's on the cover or that they chose to do a story about him.
I'm a lot more bothered by news channels using pictures of trayvon as a 12 year old instead of a 17 year old.

Like a Boss! Does your new VP of public relations get a corner, window office?

LBHalos17 got a reaction from Tank in (Scary) Bad Boy
Yikes... I love mom's response. Apologizing for her son's actions, but reprimanding the Officer. He tried to take his gun, bit him hard enough to break skin, then tried to kick-out the window. Suggestions? God forbid, if the Officer had razed a 6Year old!
Maybe the old "Hold him off at arms-length, while he swings violently underneath" would have worked.

LBHalos17 reacted to Brandon in (Scary) Bad Boy
Pretty sad situation. I think someone here works with troubled kids. My girlfriend is a therapist and works with troubled kids. The stories she comes home with are just nuts. Cases where dad killed mom right in front of the kids, these kids being raped or tortured with cigarettes, kids prostituting at a very young age, or even crazy shit like the step dad killing mom and all the direct siblings but leaving alive the ones that weren't his. Your heart breaks for these kids and it's sad how small things mean the most to them because that's all they have or how just graduating high school is some kind of miracle.
I don't know if this kids has similar issues or scenarios, but I feel bad for him opposed to treating him like a lock him up for life type because he will do crimes in the future. I think most of these kids do go on to do bad things, but there are some that make it through. I hope he gets help.

LBHalos17 reacted to HaloCory22 in When did the All-Star Game become boring?
Trout was exciting leading off the game with a double, Machado's play at 3rd was amazing, Fielder running out a triple, Mariano Rivera and his entire appearance, Matt Harvey was great, Kershaw vs. Trout was cool. Lots of great stuff even if it was a low scoring game.

LBHalos17 got a reaction from mp170.6 in Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman verdict
If Trayvon felt threatened. why didn't he call the Police to check out the creepy guy who was following him?

88 pitches through six innings. One baserunner. Only 9 pitches last inning.
You have to give the kid a chance at baseball immortality.

From a Giants fan (me) : STFU Cruz. Stick to football. Being a celeb does not give you the right
Short memory for a guy who's ass was in trouble last year himself.

LBHalos17 got a reaction from AZMike in Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman verdict
By Angels Win Forum reasoning, you're calling Trayvon a dog.

LBHalos17 reacted to Lifetime in Old Story, but still............
No you tend to have that attitude towards cops in general based on the bad cops in the bunch. It's a sh*tty generalization.

LBHalos17 reacted to sneaky_flute in Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman verdict
no one but zimmerman knows the circumstances surrounding the conflict and shooting. this prosecution is also the stupidest legal team i can recall seeing so i'd be surprised if he were convicted of anything.

LBHalos17 reacted to ScottT in What have you watched recently? (Please use the hide function for spoilers or plot lines)
Finally watched Knuckleball. If you don't root for these guys, you are an asshole.
There always seems to be 2 or 3 knuckleballers. It is kinda surprising... especially when a guy like Dickey has a run like he has... that more people don't try it.

YK, you should wear a go pro camera and do live streaming of your next mowing job at aw.com summer fanfest.

is the neighbor's last name Klopek?
Oh please, don't even compare the two.
At least if the Knapps weren't conversational, they were semi-normal.
They worked in their yard.
They mowed their lawn.
They had a lawn to mow!
These Klopeks.. we don't even know how many of em there are!

LBHalos17 reacted to Brandon in Sadly, I thought this might be the case in Menifee
I don't know, I didn't read the article.
It's more fun to see people post, argue, and debate then jump in with an opinion.

LBHalos17 reacted to bloodbrother in HR Record
It's 73. We don't even know if Chris Davis is clean, either. Reminds me of when people were hoping for A-rod to break Bond's career HR record before he was ultimately outed as a roider too
