So, does all this money to the pen mean:
- We're going all in! Let's sign Belli and Snell!
- We're cheaping out on the rotation (Lorenzen or comparable) and masking it with a high end bullpen (hopefully).
- Arte is worried about long-term contracts with the tv money in jeopardy post 2023 so he's spending money...but not on long term deals.

This just tells me how stupid Arte is.
Even if we as fans had some level of hope that he’d come back, we weren’t surprised when he left.

They sign three guys legitimately capable of putting up 2-3 fWAR seasons, that would IMO be more aggressive than they have been in a while.  
The mistake they made with Ohtani was not aggressively shopping him when they had the chance.
