I like this thing that they're doing called winning.  

Can we just have fun? I'm not telling people how to "fan" or whatever, but constant negativity is getting quite old and tired. Yes, Arte sucks and needs to sell the team. But how about we just enjoy some Angels baseball? I see probably more negativity on social media than I do here. However, it's just growing tiresome.

But holy hell if you scroll through timelines on any social media app, especially X, or you're a daily viewer of the MLB Network... it's non-stop Dodgers this, Shohei Ohtani that. Just wait for the season to start, it's going to get worse.
I was going to post some examples here for those who aren't on social media and the fawning that's 24/7 on the MLB Network over Ohtani and the Dodgers, but I'll spare you. 
MLB always wanted Ohtani to be on the Dodgers or the Yankees. They got their wish and now fans of all 29 other teams have to suffer if they choose to continue to get their news & have dialogue with other fans on these outlets.

Or two of the best four or five. After a long season, the 6th and 10th best teams to compete in a winner-takes-all final is crazy. They need to trim back the playoffs. This would also increase interest in the playoffs? I love the baseball season but it shouldn't finish in November! Most casuals lose interest I suggest?

You can insert him in the lineup anywhere.  
 
He never bitches about anything.  
 
He’s relatively cheap.  (See Rendon’s contract)
 
He’s only 26.  
 
Gimme nine Rengifo’s and the ballclub would play over .500 ball.  
Every season.
This ball club hasn’t done that in ten years.  
 
Gifo has been one of the few bright spots the last couple of seasons.  
Extend his contract and find a few more guys who play like he does.
 
And ya know what I like about him most?  He hits a home run (from either side of the plate) and he is in a full sprint!  He doesn’t stand there and watch it!

I have not read thru the thread...but it's something.
Could it be Anaheim?  Admittedly I have not been to the Big A in many years.
Anaheim and the stadium really sounds sterile to me...no life, no energy.
So Cal in general is pretty chill, but that stadium just sitting out there of the 57 in a parking lot, it just doesn't move it for me. Then you have your big money guys living in Newport or somewhere on the beach....Who the hell wants to come to Anaheim and a crappy stadium to play baseball?
It's not a gritty location to play ball compared to the Bronx or the South side of Boston or even Chavez ravine.
I will get grilled for this and that's fine. What I really think is that there is a dysfunctional philosophical issue with this organization. Ranging from how they play baseball to where they play baseball.

I wondered to myself, "so what were we all talking about exactly a year ago"? Oh, the same shit..... 😬
