MY prediction is as follows:
1) Ohtani re-signs, they get two starters, one via trade (not Glasnow) and one via free agency (Gray or Stroman or Imanga). They also sign Jung Ho Lee from Korea and an infielder. Yes I realize this is likely (45+22+10)
2) Ohtani signs elsewhere, they sign Bellinger (25 per but over 11) and get Yamamoto (7 years 203). They also sign a lower tier starter like Seth Lugo (3/42). They also sign Tim Anderson (1 year 7M).

Yeah, you never get good value when you are the one trading the superstar. Am not talking stars, I'm talking top 10 players.

While I wasn’t happy with the hiring, mainly because of off the field stuff that I remembered and his age. But I was encouraged by the staff rumored solid mix of veterans and young coaches. There was no mention of a pitching coach or bullpen coach that I saw 
Two former Angels to me fit the bill. Dan Haren has been a pitching strategist for the D’Backs for the past few seasons and was a young pitcher for the A’s while Washington was on the staff.
And of course if they could pry Percy away from UCR. Don’t know if he’d do that for the bullpen job, but perhaps as a pitching coach .

No Matter what happens, I just hope our fanbase is prepared to only receive a comp pick after all of this. 
To me, that will be the biggest blow to this organization. I'm iffy on spending $50M+ on a guy, but Jesus they had 2 chances to rebuild their organization and shit on themselves both times. 
My gut feeling: Angels and Arte Moreno offer stupid money to do anything they can to keep him, miss out on the Ohtani sweepstakes and then Arte announces sometime this year that he is ready to sell. Like i've said all along, this is Arte's last "F-You" to the fans.

Anderson needs a change of scenery, but I don't think its a good fit for him here.
That was a huge drop off, so he shouldn't get anything more than like Simmons got when he left here. And if it's $10M its $5M too high

We'll see if he ends up taking the bench coach job. 

He doesn't have (at least one) positive test for cocaine and a sexual assault allegation. 
 

Sorry but sexual assault allegations and cocaine use should've disqualified him from this job. He's the one guy I didn't want. 
If they wanted the experience and the authority of a veteran manager, they should've hired Scioscia.

I tend to think the hiring of an experienced manager and the firing of Alex Tamin would dictate that this will no longer be the case. I doubt Snitker is getting in game notes from Alex Anthropoulous the way Nevin and Maddon were from Perry. More of overall strategy and analytical notes. Not pull this guy or use this bullpen arm.

So, apparently, per Boob, the coaching staff list is not official, just people they're discussing. 
In any case, Torii feels like a great fit for the staff. I would think he'd be a great asset for the clubhouse and probably coaches the outfield. Would set him up as a potential future manager if he does well. Would give him some coaching experience.
