That's because GA was saving all his energy for when he encountered AW members at Roger Dunn.

It really is too bad that Green's defense is so terrible at DH. Hopefully they try to teach him the position down in AAA.

To be fair, tigers, leopards, jaguars, cougars etc. are great creatures, and probably fine pets. It's those of the house variety that are nature's biggest mistake.
I thought my post might have been a little morbid sounding, but I was referring more to The Official I Hate Cats Book, which is the Gary Larson of cat violence. To watch an actual cat be tortured would be awful because, well, you're spending time looking at a cat. Plus that would be highly inefficient, when the ultimate goal is immediate eradication.

That is the furthest thing from a Calico, and I'm not sure I can support the team anymore if this continues. If they were to turn the cat inside out like a rally cap then I'd be down.

In a weird way I kind of miss Physioc saying "and it is now FIVE to three!" when the team with the three just scored.
Terry Smith is hilarious because he seems to have trouble trying to talk, and this is a guy whose voice is his living. "And the pitch is swung on and...that is...gonna be a strikeout." You can just say "missed" Terry lol.

After watching Frieri's last appearance I have determined that Butcher is responsible for his performance. There was a noticeable difference between his fastballs, meaning he is still inexplicably throwing a four-seamer.
I thought his two-seamer might have just flattened out, but it hasn't. So whoever is telling him to throw the four-seamer needs to stop (even if it's Frieri that wants to someone should be telling him NOT to). And I would have to think that is Butcher's job.

Wow, now you should leave him out there. Now that the game is over you're just wasting Morin.
I love how the biggest situation Morin has faced is a five-run lead in the 9th, but Rasmus immediately pitches a close game in the last inning.

I don't understand what happened. In 2012 he started throwing the four-seamer and got crushed. If he's seriously still using it somebody needs to lose a job. If it's his two-seamer then how did it flatten out so much?

This is a crucial factor and it's also just obvious that Frieri is terrible as a closer. Some guys need to close, some it doesn't matter, and some just cannot close. Frieri is the latter and Smith is one of the guys where it doesn't matter.
Like others have said, Frieri was dominant as a setup man, average to terrible as a closer, and is back to being perfect as a setup man. Not sure how that evidence screams "needs to be the closer" to Scoscia.

    Thank God for Joe Smith.

I'd have gone with Frieri over Herrera but no harm no foul.

They are one pen arm short of being solid and two from being good.

We could really use DDLR and Burnett right now.  Big time.  That would go a long way to really rounding out this team.  If these guys are gonna be back soon, I'd hold off on bringing up Alvarez and I'd save Bedrock as a secret weapon for a stretch run.

They need to get to a point where Jep is a situational Rher, and Salas is the last guy out and doesn't have to pitch in close games.  Maronde and Herrera belong in AAA.

    It's coming along though.
