A good major league career who stayed in the bigs so long primarily because of his glove and his baseball instincts.
 
I think he's a great organizational guy and would like to see him kept within the Halos organization as, perhaps, a roving infield instructor throughout our minor league system......teaching some fundamentals -- something that is really needed.

It's how the draft works.  Seniors don't get any money.  He's probably not a 7th round talent, but he at least is an org. guy and we save money to sign guys like Gatto.

Why did Bo Way receive (and agree to) such a small bonus when compared to slot?

I felt bad for him the moment he walked off the mound but then even worse when I saw his emotions in the clubhouse.
If I've ever seen a player cry like that in the clubhouse I don't remember it. And I've been doing this for 17 years.
I had the weekend off so didn't get a chance to talk to him during the Royals series so before the game today I took the chance to go chat and welcome him back, etc. I asked him what it was like to spend two weeks in AA again. He said he even took a five hour bus ride.
He is a really good guy. And I hope he makes it back.
Side note: he said Alvarez, Bedrosian and Danny Reynolds are really good.

Emily Litella. Oh, I'm sorry…. Never mind, but in that case tell him to get his butt back on the mound and pronto! It's not right for the Angels bullpen to blow leads night after night like that! And the manager seems like a nice fellow but I just don't understand the things he does during the game...
