    Yep. I agree. Eppler should get more time to develop the system. Knee-jerk reactions end up costing this team for years.

    Wonder if it would be equally effective if, instead of a fixed schedule, it was more of a variable schedule where runners didn't "always" go. Seemed too predictable. Whatevs though. Was never an issue for me.

    My initial thought was, "non-story", but you make a great point about the team's common expectations. If that is the expectation, which is presumably set in place by the management, then yes, he screwed up. I guess the question I have is whether or not the manager took time to reinforce the expectation so that it does not happen again.
