Honestly, I would be okay without Hamilton. Can't really miss something that you never had to begin with.
 
We are playing much better without him. Maybe this injury has been nagging him for awhile. Whatever is going on, things are rolling now.

Ya, he is an amazing talent, I'll give you that, but he has very low baseball IQ as well.

And still batting .293 with a .382 OBP. I get it, you don't like the guy. But he is still an amazing talent.

We are going to go on an 11 game win streak!!! Or I will ban myself from posting between the hours of 10pm and 5am for the rest of the year.

Stretching Rasmus out may be all they need to do, as it's certainly easy enough to slot in someone as a long innings reliever to take his spot, than to find someone for that rotation spot.
Rasmus has been nails in the long innings role.
Stretch him out to 75 pitches on Saturday and see what happens. He threw 51 pitches on Monday and perfectly slots into the Saturday spot.

Colon makes sense for the Angels since they actually would need him next year. I don't think the same could be said about other teams that mainly need a rental for the rest of this season. That $11 Million next year I think will keep teams away.

I'm not a big fan of spending lots of money on starting pitching. Richards, Skaggs, Santiago, and Shoemaker have provided very good bang for your buck and are young, while signing CJ Wilson hasn't really given the team a good return on investment. Granted, we will be without the services of Skaggs and Richards for some time. But, taking on Colon who's owed only $11 million next year doesn't seem like a bad idea. It's a low risk/high reward type move. And, it buys us a little more time to develop the next solid Halo starter.

Welp good luck to the angels fo finding at least 2 starters to replace Skaggs and don't expect Richards back till the asb and who knows how he will be mentally coming back from injury.

Only care about what he is doing between the lines. He's 42 and 12-10 with an ERA of 3.82. If he can repeat that next year as our number 4 or 5 starter, I'm good with it!

That's an awful lot of optimism. Weaver and Wilson need to step it up big time and pitch deep into games. We need everyone to step it up. 

Would you rather I join the chorus of people bemoaning the loss of the season and talking about a potentially career threatening injury?    No amount of talking up our concern is going to make him heal.  There isn't an Angels fan or human being that isn't torn up about it but crying about it on a message board won't make it any better.  

This is bad, and I feel terrible for him, but it is far from the worst thing that could happen to him. He is alive, has a functioing brain, and will get excellent medical attention.

I'm sorry.
