Eh, at least Arozarena's on my fantasy team

How is it that after the Adell mess that we call up another guy who can't make middle school level plays in the outfield? Like these guys aren't being coached and developed at all

The Angels making a bunch of mental errors and collapsing? Who would have guessed? I'm sure Nevin will be very upset and the team totally won't do this again the very next game.

Sandoval I think.

Thinking ahead, if we can score another 12 runs via wild pitch or error we have a chance at this one

Honestly I enjoy the games from a pure comedy perspective, win or lose.

Lol. All this just to inevitably blow a 5 run lead and lose anyway

AngelsFaninGA got a reaction from Jason in OC Register: Angels’ Anthony Rendon looks for rebound after two straight injury-marred seasons
He's obviously not going to play at even a replacement level ever again so I'd prefer if he just kinda stepped away from the team for the remainder of the contract and we forgot who he was altogether

AngelsFaninGA reacted to AngelsLakersFan in OC Register: Why have so many Angels pitchers struggled this season?
Not a good look for Perry and the organization at all...
One thing not directly mentioned is the effect limited experience is having on these guys. The Angels have been very aggressive promoting guys and I think we are seeing the effects of a poor player development process. All of this reads like the pitching staff and the catching crew trying to develop at the major league level.
Also, I say this as one of the biggest stat guys on this board, but this is not the way to use analytics. The stats are a tool, but the season is judged on executing wins and losses, not exit velos and spin rates.

Yep, especially this part: "Minasian, however, said he was unaware of the other organizational issues that pitchers cited."

Why? Is she planning on suiciding some of the players?

Of course he doesn’t intentionally hurt himself but he’s an injury looking to happen so I’m perfectly fine never seeing him play for the Angels ever again.

Translation - "If I don't feel 100%, I'm not going to play. You gave me my payday and I am going to spend it on my kids"

The pitching is just comically bad. Either they give up 0-1 runs or it's a complete meltdown 80% of the time and they give up 9+

Rays pulling some Angels shit on that one

Our pitching and defense really stinks. I'm really looking forward to that once again not being addressed in the offseason

Would probably have a 5.50 ERA if he was still here tbh

I am having a tough time today. I knew him best from 2005-2011ish. When you get married and have kids, your priorities change and you lose touch with some and with others, you correspond less and less frequently. You think you're doing the right thing - pouring your life into your wife and kids because "that's the way it goes." Everyone understands that, right? Well fuck man. While I didn't fully lose touch with him - we texted about superficial nonsense once in a while - I certainly wasn't there for him.
I will say this. Whatever perception people had of Brandon, I knew him as an aspirational, big-hearted soul who had the courage to be vulnerable in intimate (no gay) situations. He was a better friend to me than I was to him. I'm guessing many others would feel the same.
