Hunter Strickland has a 1.76 ERA and 0.91 WHIP in 15.1 innings with the Brewers. He had a 1.69 ERA and 1.25 WHIP in 16.0 innings with the Rays before we acquired him. He had a 9.95 ERA and 2.37 WHIP in 6.1 IP with us.

Minasian comes from the Atlanta front office who had a philosophy of seizing opportunities, regardless of when they occur or what the team already has or needs.  I honestly hope he is not deciding on whether to sell or buy but what opportunities are out there to help the organization.  Based on his off season choices, I hope he does very little with trades but stays busy with DFA's.

I've always wanted to trade Adell. I even knew Walsh would be ready before Adell and I think Adell is overhyped. The Yelich thing is one example. I'm in the help out the major League club right now with proven players rather than hope a guy is good 3 years from now camp. Capitalize on Trout, Ohtani, Rendon, Fletcher, Walsh etc now but that's obviously not this Orgs philosophy.
I'm simply typing that years ago, a lot here thought Adell would be ready and mashing by now.  He was deemed untradeable even though he could have gotten PROVEN help.  I saw that and seeing as the Angels were deep in Outfield depth, he was a great tradeable asset. Oh well. 
Now he's only maybe worth a 27 year old pitcher that isn't even a top 20 in baseball? He went from untradeable to that? Sad.

I haven't been this excited since McPhearsons call up.  Hope it ends up better.  WAY BETTER!
