IEAngelsfan got a reaction from HanfordGuy in Clean jokes thread
A doctor had just finished giving a senior woman a physical and declared the woman in fine shape. Then the doctor asked the woman if she had any concerns.
"Well, there is something I was wondering if you could help me with. You see, I constantly have gas, but the good thing is that my gas doesn't smell and you can't hear me tooting. Since no one knows that I have gas, I'll toot wherever I go. For example, when I go to the gym or when I go shopping and I'm waiting in a long line in the check out counter, I'm constantly passing gas. As a matter of fact, I was passing gas as you were giving me my physical. Still, I would prefer that I didn't have the gas. Is there something you can give me to get rid of it?"
"Hmmm, okay" the doctor responded. I'm going to prescribe this medication for you to take daily. Please come see me in about two weeks to see how it's working."
Two weeks pass by and the woman comes back to see the doctor and angrily talks to the doctor.
"Doctor, the medication you gave me doesn't work. Not only does it not work, but now my gas is extremely smelly. You gave me the wrong medication."
The doctor responded "good, now that your sense of smell is working, let me prescribe something for your hearing."

IEAngelsfan reacted to Tank in A Pretty Good Afternoon with Jeff Fletcher
Had a fun afternoon today. I'm always in search of interesting people to do an assembly at my school, so I reached out to Jeff Fletcher. Was wonderfully surprised when he said yes, so today was the day he showed up. He spoke to the kids for a few minutes about his journey in becoming a writer and what it's like to do something that he so completely loves. He and I did a little Q & A, and then we gave the kids a chance to ask some questions.
It started off well enough, but then they remembered that they're 12 and 13. We got questions like "What's your favorite juice?", "What's your favorite jam?", "What's your net worth?", and my personal favorite, "When you eat cereal, which do you put in the bowl first, milk or cereal?" (this has apparently become quite a hot topic on my campus). Jeff handled it all very well (OJ, grape jam, not very much unless his book really takes off, and cereal first, for those who may be interested) like the professional that he is.
Thank you, @Jeff Fletcher. It was more than a pleasure.

IEAngelsfan reacted to T.G. in Michael Lorenzen in the rotation.
I just can't believe Minasian didn't consult with this board before deciding to give Lorenzen a shot at the rotation.

IEAngelsfan reacted to OldAndInTheWay in Angels select Peguero, outright Wallach, release Guerra
For me the '76-77 off season was the best. Signings of free agents Joe Rudi, Don Baylor and Bobby Grich gave the long suffering fans a huge boost.

IEAngelsfan reacted to HanfordGuy in Ryu: “Angels didn’t want two Asian players on the team”
I heard that he didn’t want to sign with the Angels because of Mickey Rooney’s performance in Breakfast At Tiffany’s.

Hoping the angels start pimping walsh hard, and posting things like "its been years since we had this kind of production out of 1B!"

IEAngelsfan reacted to Lazorko Saves in Roberto Baldoquin Sighting!
When I get my time machine working, the Baldoquin/Vladdy Jr thing will be one of the first things I fix.
In fact, it might be the first. I can do the 'tell a young Adolph Hitler his art is really quite good and he should stick with it' thing second.
Actually Hitler might be third. I gotta stop the Blazers drafting Sam Bowie 2nd overall in 1984 also.

Failos gets on a bus, and ends up sitting next to a very attractive nun. Enamored with her, he asks if he can have sex with her. Naturally, she says no, and gets off the bus. Failos goes to the bus driver, cals, and asks him if he knows of a way for him to have sex with the nun.
"Well," says cals, "every night at 8 o'clock, she goes to the cemetery to pray. If you dress up as God, I'm sure you could convince her to have sex with you."
Failos decides to try it, and dresses up in his best God costume. At eight, he sees the nun and appears before her.
"Oh, God!" she exclaims. "Take me with you!" Failos tells the nun that she must first have sex with him to prove her loyalty. The nun says yes, but tells him she prefers anal sex. Before you know it, they're getting down to it, having nasty, grunty, loud sex. After it's over, failos pulls off his God disguise.
"Ha, ha! I'm the man from the bus!"
"Ha, ha!" says the nun, removing "her" costume. "I'm cals!"
