Our AAA squad lost 22-3 yesterday.
But im thinking just keep rolling Meyer out there. He has upside, abs has literally nowhere to go but up from here. If he still sucks by the end of the year, at least we know that next year, Meyer, Middleton, Bedrosian, Paredes will make a pretty awesome, young pen.

No attempt to change your mind, but why? That's kind of puzzling to me. He is a very good person who is a family man and charitable and plays the game the right way. Is it the money? I personally will never hold a contract against a player unless they are cheaters or they quit (stop trying) once they have the guaranteed contract. Pujols doesn't fit those descriptions, so what's the beef? Just curious.

What was the cumulative WAR from second last year? Wasn't it like, -0.6? I'd say a 2+ game swing is more than "marginal".

Pen might have done better this year if they weren't over worked the pen in April and May.
What blows my mind is people are upset that Scioscia went to Street when
1. When we a trying to convince teams to offer a trade for street.
2. When we are 11 games out of the playoffs
3. When a large percentage of this board not only believes this season is lost but so is 2017.
4. When a large number of people on this board has suggested we should do poorly so we get a better position in draft and slot money.
In other words who really cares if Scioscia wanted to stay with Street!

Only thing that was Escobar's fault was that he didn't touch home and he had all day to do it, when the catcher dropped the ball. Is not that hard to get, but you have it your way I'm done with this play.
