Sign Maldonado 1 to 2 years at 1 to 2 mil per
Trade Simmos, Canning, Marsh and another prospect to the Mets for Thor.
I don't care who my 5th or 6th starters are as my rotation now revolves around Cole, Strasburg, Thor and Ohtani.

Simmons also next year, and  Calhoun this year. If we don't sign Cole it won't be because of money. It will be because he just didn't want to be an Angel...

In his last 24 starts, Cole is 18-0 with a 1.66 ERA and 251 strikeouts in 162⅓ innings.

This has to be a Moreno move. No way this happens if Madden wasn't available. Ausmus drove me nuts with not letting the pitchers pitch. The hook was strong with that man.

My biggest issue with Ausmus was the silly refusal to let pitchers face the line up a 3rd time thing.  But I really doubt that was a 100% Ausmus thing.

Walker Buehler would be a player I'd consider trading Adell for, but it would cost Buehler and more. Betts and 1 year? No. He's gonna be looking at a deal near what Trout got and The Angels just can't afford that.
