did getting free housing enhance his performance? is this kind of violation enough to strip him of his award?
bonds and others used substances that made their performance on the field better, while bush did not.
But both are considered illegal (at least for Bush it was at the time) and against the rules.
Did Pete Rose gambling on baseball make him a better baseball player? No. But it’s illegal and against the rules. He’s still banned.

That had to be one of the most frustrating Kings games I’ve ever watched as a fan of almost 40 years. The Kings outplayed the Oilers in every aspect of the game except the one phase they have sucked at all series. Penalty kill.
A bullshit penalty and the Kings couldn’t kill it, even though they held the Oilers to 13 shots on goal for the ENTIRE GAME. 13 shots. The Kings had 33 and Skinner stopped them all.
We are the Oilers prison bitch, plain and simple and it sucks.

I am. So are my kids and grandkids.
What can I say, Strad?
I’m also a shill for the LA Kings

Kings only allowed the Oilers 4 shots in the first period of game 4. Best effort in any period of the series. I hope they can keep this up for the whole series.
Of course they need more offense to go with it.

If your grandkids love that is why u go. Kids will remember for years to come when they take their kids. Win or lose some of best times I've had has been at the ballpark.
This is what it’s all about @Angels 1961You are right. The best of times, but also a lot of shitty times also as a fan.
The kids don’t care.

Sure, teams like Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, Cubs, Mets, Giants. But how many of today's 39,000 were Twins fans? I doubt very many. And anybody who actually bought an advanced ticket to see a Sunday afternoon game against the Twins, is a bit of a moron. You could probably get one for less than 25% of face value on the resale market. And that's because SSH would rather talk a giant hit, than waste their time driving to the stadium, paying for parking and concessions, when they can watch the Angels get destroyed from the comfort of their couch.
I wonder how many of the Season Seat Holders have had their seats for 20+ years. The fear of losing that seniority is a strong motivator to keep their plan in place. Anyone else is showing real dedication to the franchise, it's ownership, management, and players.. I mean, really, what NEW Season Seat Holders are they getting? Are there people out there actually willing to spend Thousands of $$$$$ to see this team play 81 games in person?
To be honest, I’m in the 20+ season seat holder club, but Sundays are Little League days at the stadium. The Angels sell discounted seats to about 10,000 little league kids, coaches, and their family and friends which explains a lot about attendance.
Twins fans? Not many. New Angels season seat holders? Not many either, at least in our section. And in all honesty, I split with a buddy from work which is only 40 games or so. It gets harder and harder to attend every year. Mostly I go because I’m retired now, and I enjoy watching baseball, not really shitty baseball. This will probably be my last year. I’m tired of investing in a shitty product anymore.
My grandkids love it though

My best guess is that they let people park too close to the fireworks setup in the parking lot and Anaheim FD caught it.
@PattyD22 might know the actual reason.
Maybe. But I was at last nights game and they had a huge area designated for the drones and the fireworks for this weekend.
i would bet that the safety officer assigned to the event was in the shitter and probably fell asleep in there due to the shit pile that was on the field…
Thats my guess

It’s just frustrating that every pitcher on this team, not named Detmers or Anderson, turns every damn game into a Friday Night, beer league softball game.
it gets really old

Hey Angel fans, if the starter shits the bed and you have to go to the pen in the 2nd, it’s going to be Suarez.

And I used to think Sandoval was the mental midget of this team.
We have a new leader in the pitching room. Good lord

I’d rather see drones.
My dog slaughtered that thing in about 3 minutes last year.

Arte’s “frugal” solution to that pesky rodent problem we had a couple years ago. Way cheaper than Orkin or Corky’s pest control.

I’m watching the Cards/Mets game right now and Sonny Gray is pitching.
He has pitched 21 innings so far this year.
He has allowed 1 ER in 21 innings, has 27 strikeouts and 1 walk so far this year.
Cards are getting their money’s worth so far this early part of the season.

Drone shows will never replace fireworks for me, but we thought it was cool.
We were in the parking lot and it’s funny, they all lifted up in batches of 100 or something and one dropped dead out of the sky.
I watched from the parking lot also @The Ghost of Bob Starr. We had the grandkids with us and they wanted to watch from the back of the truck.
I saw that drone also fall right out of the sky. Less than 5 seconds in. It was pretty cool how they all went up in rows of about 100-150 and the levels were pretty cool. Then they changed from blue to red then went dark.
Im with you, I like the fireworks but that drone show was pretty cool. I saw one in Big Bear a couple years ago when the fireworks show up there got cancelled. Last nights was better.
