You're saying Torii was an imposter?
He had to spell it Tory or Torrey.
That made it cool

Big Jo with a nice play on a hard hit ball. Way to go, Jo

Carter O'Hoppe with another hit.
Carter O’Hoppe with a typical Angels base running gaffe.
”freeze on a line drive” with less than 2 outs was burned into my brain since I was 6 years old.

Angels 92.7% win percentage as of right now per ESPN statcast.
Yet, I feel like dropping a live bet on the Orioles for some reason? Hmm.
A small bet.

It’s early in the season, but that’s a fucking disastrous loss. A complete failure in extra innings.
(2) 2 out base hits to score the tying and winning runs in the 9th and 13th.
Bases loaded, no outs and can only push across a bullshit sac fly.
This one hurts a little

I’m just glad that Adell remembered to go back and tag up and not just run home.
That would have been very Adell-like base running.

Good lord this team…..

What are we doing here? What is this logic?
So this could happen. He leads the league in wild pitches so far this year

That was an amazingly well pitched 8 2/3 innings today. You could feel it coming when Rengifo booted that ball.

The elusive 3rd out has evaded the Angels again.

just 2 weeks ago, everyone wanted him batting higher up in the order.
I think our lead off hitter was hitting between .000 and .045 at that time so it was a thought.
A bad one, but still a thought.

Seems like we frequently post almost the exactly same thing at the same time in Gameday Threads! Ha.

Moniak with an absolute bomb to dead center. Nice to finally see that

Wow. What a great play by O’Hoppe right there. A true web gem

He is going on cue, I doubt he has a green light. They need to harness that speed for better pitch counts but then you have Net-0 up there that hit what would have been a double play if Adell wasn't on the move.
Exactly. I’d rather see Adell on a straight steal since it appears Neto can’t hit his ass with both hands right now.
-
Jo Adell is a brutal baserunner. Even if that was a busted hit and run, the point still stands.

He has certainly learned how to close out matches.
It reminds me of the glory days of Tiger. Back in the day, when Tiger was in contention, especially when he was chasing, guys locked up. Even great players pressed.
With Scheffler, he wasn’t chasing today, but he had the lead and guys knew he wasn’t going to make mistakes (like Tiger) and Scottie let guys make their own mistakes.
Scheffler is Tiger 2.0

Just a masterful performance by Scottie Scheffler today and throughout the entire tournament. Great champion and great person.
Now go home and be a father.

I keep waiting for Morikawa and Homa to decide they want a green jacket but so far Aberg is the only golfer moving his game forward.
Exactly @Blarg. Me too. I’m pulling hard for both those guys, and Scheffler also.
Aberg is playing with zero fear right now, and that’s dangerous. Maybe he doesn’t realize this is a major and is going to change his life forever?
-
Morikawa could be running away with this tournament on the final day, but he has missed 4 amazing opportunities for birdies and one for eagle and missed them all. Same goes for Max Homa.
Scheffler is letting the field come back to him with consecutive bogeys. Scottie is really struggling today with distance control on his irons and he’s missing greens left and right.
Going to be a great finish today with many players within 3 shots right now.

Thanks for the hot betting tip, Ippei.
Light that baby up.
