Honestly sounds like stuffs getting overblown with Rendon. Fours doctors diagnosed it the same as what the angels diagnosed it, and one diagnosed it differently. But, at the end of the day it's the same treatment.  
And I fully expect Rendon to come back next year too much money on the table. 

My top choices would be Sonny Gray and Yoshinobu Yamamoto. In Gray you get a veteran that's has been a solid 2 in any rotation. With Yamamoto you get another young pitcher with big upside and solid stuff
Gray I think your looking at that Bassit contract, and with Yamamotot it could be anywhere from what Sanga got to Tanka's.

Snell's Walk rate scares me. there's a 90 % chance that he returns back to his pre- 2023 form with the Padres if he signs with us.
For me Gray is the top choice, he been an undrated #2! 

Didn't watch the games, But Sandy probably has been the biggest disappointment of the season. After his world cup performances, many of us (or just myself) were expect him to take that next step, instead it was a step backwards.   

I wouldn't be surprised if Trout requests to be traded, But I think it ultimately comes down to the direction Arte and Co. wants to take. The Pieces are there, the young talent is there, now it's finding the missing piece. Also, as much as I would love to keep Othani, it would not hurt to see him leave, could be beneficent having that DH spot open.

I don't understand the love for Contreras? like the  first 50 games into that contract,and it's already considered to be a disastrous! heck there were reports early on off removing him from the C position. 
Verlander looks like a big risk, his K rates are down,he's 40. Honestly I'm happy with the rotation we have. 
I'd prefer to add to the BP more than anything.

Quero, his hit tool and eye is solid, but a lack of power and position limits him and he's been struggle this season. 
 Bush, up in the air. could be the one guy that could hurt.

honestly I don't mind the lost of Quero and Bush! Quero lack of power this year  has been concerning. Bush, could be that break it or make it part of the deal. I also think there could also be a good shot at re-signing lucus

the draft will always be a coin-flip. Take for example John Leiter, he was consider  one of the best pitching prospects in the game and so far it hasn't worked out. Same could be said about Rucker and HIll. Mike trout was a late pick. Overall by mid -point next season we'll get a solid idea of the draft and right now it's too early to make judgement.
