At this point, it feels like I'm watching Reggie Dunlop out there trying to keep it together while Arte has the same drive to win as Anita McCambridge. Here's hoping the Hanson Brothers show up soon. At least they were entertaining.

The FX / Hulu version of Shogun concluded this week.
I haven't read the book. I don't remember much of the Richard Chamberlain version, which is only available on DVD currently.
This was a really good mini-series. Excellent visuals, costumes, fight scenes, story lines. Hulu also had a podcast for each episode featuring writers, directors, and cast, which helped to explain a lot of the historical context.

A woman who filed a lawsuit against former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer, accusing him of sexual assault and battery, is now facing criminal fraud charges. Darcy Adanna Esemonu is accused of engaging in “fraudulent schemes and artifices” against Bauer and a second person.

Watched the NCAAW championship game tonight. I really don't follow women's sports but I DVR'd the game and watched it tonight.
In the end S.C. was too big and too deep for Iowa despite their great player Caitlin Clark. Iowa's other players were very good, they just weren't very deep.
Iowa couldn't get a rebound, they were out-sized. But they were gamers. S.C. wore them down.
I was impressed with how fundamentally good the women are. They play below the rim and focus on passing and defense.
