If there was ever a season where the Angels would have 2-3 breakouts from their young guys, it would be this season. 
Hoping it happens for Adell and a couple others. If it does, theres a damn good chance the Angels are playing meaningful baseball in Sept/Oct. 

I'd stack this podcast up against any sports podcast out there. Great job guys! Hope to see Geoff back on the next one.

I don't know if I agree with Victor. Yes, owning a sports team comes with a lot of headaches but I would hope the first reason someone wants to buy the team is that he/she wants the team to be successful. Victor has a business-first mentality and, of course, you want the team to make money, but I would hope a new owner would consider: 1) he/she would be instantly lionized by the fan base and 2) based on 1 if he/she/they show the fans a glimmer of hope (signing a free agent or two, making an optimistic speech of change, maybe working things out with the city), gratitude would be paid back.
It's a big market club and I believe the new owner can profit even if 3 billion is the price. The Angels aren't terrible. They're terribly owned.

Damn it. Just when it appeared that Cash had finally found a place that he could call home, he gets traded again. He was a key piece going into 2024.

Lets get into the GD Postseason to get the monkey off our back, because anything can happen once you're there. 
Trout, if not 100% through the season, would be able to take the time off after we clinch to rest up (hopefully a week or more), then still manage to go out there for the playoff games.
We gotta get rid of this dark shadow that's looming over us, and clinching the year after Ohtani leaves would definitely make a statement.

I think it is important for Thaiss to continue to develop and keep O'Hoppe from wearing down.....a serviceable back up catcher is a big part of a roster....

I don’t think there is much pressure on anyone with the Angels this season. The expectation is 0, and I think most everyone in the media thinks it’s a 90-100 loss team and they should just cut bait and trade Trout. 

As for O’hoppe what we really need is him to handle the pitching staff and guide them all to good seasons, that will be the key. The guy is going to hit 

I don't think he will be getting extra pressure, but some (mostly fans) may have unrealistic expectations of him. 

Not sure what you mean by "undue pressure." He's a young player getting his sea legs as an everyday regular, playing on a team unlikely to be in the playoff hunt. He's also playing a position that the Angels have been historically weak on, with no real standout stars except for the stray good season here and there. Sure, there's pressure from being a well-regarded prospect, but I don't see it as "undue." 
 

I think if he can stay healthy he will.
