Well Scotty, as long as you don't expect people to take you serious when you try to sell yourself as an inside source and scout, and then come up with nonsense about Sosh would put Richards back in AAA if it was the only way to get Weaver in the rotation. When you say silly stuff like that you come across unprofessional or like a jilted lover.

It's time to accept that we have a moronic owner that simply hasn't learned from past mistakes, and frequently makes irrational decisions. 
 
The move to get rid of him is whatever. He's a useless player (for us) and an endless distraction, so it's nice to save a little money at least...wouldn't be surprised if he hits us hard in Arlington though.

Unfortunately for him hes stuck here for 6 more years.  With the same idiotic manager and for the most part the same idiots around him for the duration of that time period.

I wouldn't blame him

He was not present at spring training. He wasn't even issued a locker. There were no photos or accounts of his being there even in the stands.
Compare that to Tyler Skaggs who won't even be back this year, but was there running drills.
 
He has not been present in Anaheim. Again, compare that to Skaggs and Richards, who have made road trips with the team voluntarily while on the DL.
Everything that has been said and verified with the press has said that he has spent the entire spring training with a "friend" in Texas. He wanted to do that. The Angels let him do it - again, trying to act in his best interests. They could have ordered him to show up to ST and rehab with the Angels trainers. They didn't. The fact that he stayed away voluntarily speaks volumes, imho. He hasn't so much as even written a public tweet saying "hey good luck guys," has he?!

It's true man, Pujols comes off very egotistical in person. I met him once at spring training, and the dude is kind of a grouchy dick honestly. He rarely if ever signs autographs for more than a few minutes and has a pissed off attitude when signing

Well I didn't really have any intention to tear him up in this thread but yea......Just read what Jeff Pearlman a Stl Cardinals beat writer had to say about him and his treatment of people. Even his Cards teammates were embarrassed by his actions.

You don't now what you are talking about. Maybin is a throw away along with Quentin. Upton is also a throw away considering their payroll ceiling is no where near maxed out and they can dump him without thinking twice about eating the cost. Their whole intent was a top of the line closer under club control after getting their fair share of future Rondons for Street last season. They added all of $8 million to their payroll for 2015 when all the dust settled.
