Last 22 IP: 0.00 ERA 30 SO 5 BB. In the Month of July he averaged almost 2 strikeouts an inning.
Maybe it's time I actually watch the games past the 5th inning so I can actually see him pitch.
 
Edit: Just realized the Angels relief pitching blew the game again, reminding me why I never watch games past the 5th inning.

Scioscia needs to be a manager here and sit Street's sorry ass down in favor of Bedrosian.  Street is worse than Salas at this point

See again if you ask golden state fans especially a year after winning it all if last year was a success I'm sure they'd tell you no. Also if you've heard any oh Currys interviews that series still eats at him I don't think he'd call that season a success. Like LeBron wouldn't call last years defeat in the finals a success. You can find joy and excitement and personal individual goals a success but as of the team. Getting there and losing sucks that much worse. Cause you could taste it. 

No I don't believe it was. I'm sure Cubs fans or Mets fans aren't stoked bout it either. Angels had a great 2014 regular season and got swept in the first round. Sure the Angels regular season was a success but they fell short and failed miserably in the post season

I wonder if Tom Brady feels good about that season losing the championship game. I'll go out on a limb and say that game eats at him 

Sports is all about playing hard and doing your best, if you lose the game you did not achieve your goal and that is to win. Yes, you can have the greatest season ever and lose in the world series, ask the players if they had a successful year. Most will tell you no, they did not reach the goal they set out to achieve, no one plays just to make it to the world series, except losers.

It is unsuccessful. It can be a sign of the right direction but if u play for a WS Victory anything short is a failure. U either win or you failed as a team. 

Sounds like you come from the everybody gets a trophy generation.  You play sports to win championships, at the end of the year there is only one team that reached their goal. 
 

I have a crazy idea. How about the Angels try to win AND keep Mike Trout? It's hard to believe but having the best player in baseball may actually help the team win. 

After this season.  Trout has 4 years remaining on his contract.  Superstars go to other teams usually for two things.  Money and to Win.  And since Trout has been on the Angels, we have not been winning.  And as this season proves, money may not be at the top end either.  This is his sixth season with the Angels and so far we have 1 playoff experience, losing all 4 games to show for it.  If you suck and rebuild for the rest of his contract, that will be 10 seasons.  Odds are, he won't stick around for a 11th.
 

He's been a feel-good story from the time he came up. I'm glad he has regained his mojo this season.

Richards was an easy call on Tommy John he came in way to hot throwing over 100 in debut of spring that's on the coaching. The rest I don't know there's something wrong with our medical staff, training or something. Skaggs still isn't back to mlb and Wilson couldn't heal, Richards gone, Trop gone and Heaney gone that's not a great grade on this teams training or medical staff. Could it be all bad luck or is it something else entirely that could have been prevented?

Enjoyed seeing the retro unis.  Winning 7-0 was enjoyable too!
