I mean if there was ever a guy that got the maximum amount of money for minimal output, it's Wells.

The numbers don't lie, but perceptions and presumptions can provide different interpretations.
Larry Walker has all the analytic numbers to deserve HOF recognition.

Before Coors field he already was an established rising star with Expos and no doubt would have continued to put up gaudy numbers. Maybe not as many homers, but more doubles, significant run production quality fielding and overall excellence.
Think of Vlad had he remained on his Expos trajectory. Also most likely a HOF career. Same thing that propelled Gary Carter, Andre Dawson and Tim Raines into the HOF. All got more recognition in bigger markets, but the core of their careers was established with the Expos.
But Coors Field immediately had the opposite effect. It delegitimized Walker to a notable degree.
And Walker was much more than homeruns. A five tool player who was consistent in all phases of the game. Injuries are a consideration, but shouldn't be that much of a negative when evaluating his entire career.

He can’t reserve a table for meetings at the Corona Del Taco yet. Still too small time. Had to accept a table every other Tuesday from 8-10AM at the Del Taco on 14th St in Riverside.

Forgot to add Abreu to the maybe section. Dude kinda quietly put together some impressive career numbers. 288HR and 400SB is pretty good.

I never watched past the first season of 24, and The Wire is the best thing ever put on TV, so it's hard to judge. I think it's objectively better than Homeland by quite a bit though, and the writing for the most part is pretty good, especially the dialogue. There was one thing that bothered me deeply this season writing-wise though. I won't go into specifics, but a major part of the plot deals with a specific bit of "crazy new technology" that has really been around for several decades and I worked with regularly in college. So that just felt kinda silly to me, but I imagine it wouldn't be an issue for most.

Tapatio is the unarguably the best hot sauce ever made. It goes well with obviously Mexican food, but also pasta dishes, and BBQ. I'll argue to the death anyone that disagrees.

I've always kept up, but the last day or so has been like a beautiful symphony of insults, accusations, assbirths, and occasional decent thoughts. There was even a nice fatalist comment in there to frame the meaningless nature of all the bickering. It was great.

Texas is weird because it feels like several different places at once. In my opinion, Western Texas is about as depressing as it gets. It's pretty much just New Mexico's b-hole. Eastern Texas definitely feels a lot more like the deep south than anything. Central/Northern Texas is basically Kansas with more money and weirder laws, but far more tolerable winters. Dallas might be the best outkick your coverage city in America too. Haven't really spent much time in the Houston/SE Texas area, but who knows, it might be great.

It seems fairly enforceable to me. Have league officials regularly check that nothing fishy is going on, rely on people to report if something is, punish swiftly and harshly for violations. I feel like getting 30 teams to comply with "Hey, don't hide a freaking camera in the outfield to run your own private feed of the catcher's signals" should be fairly doable for MLB.
