Without getting ahead of ourselves, and I hate to say it, but I could really see a protest possibly being upheld. Otero was in the baseline but the rule allows that to field the ball. It's up to Aybar to avoid him and he's allowed to if the fielder hasn't yet fielded the ball. And he's the one that Aybar ran into, after he had it.
The only thing I can think of is that the 1B blocked him even though Eric never touched him. That might be the ruling.

He needs to take a page out of our previous 27, swing at the first pitch

i would seriously consider drop Trout to 3, Pujols 4, Hamliton 5, with Aybar and Calhoun 1-2,

they have a really good starting rotation, with Lester having a lot of postseason experience.  they did weaken their offense, but Pitching wins playoff games.
 if we infact face them in ALDS ( which looks like its going to happen either way), we better hope our Offense is on fire big time.
