Mike Trout's last 4 games

He's seeing the ball better and waiting for a better pitch I think.

If Josh can just frkn get his hits with man on, we would win blowouts.

I think some of it has to do with letting the ball get deeper and going the other way as well as not worrying about pulling monster hrs.  Especially with two strikes.

Josh Donaldson with 20 errors has a higher war than trout and Stanton...... Hitting 250 with 25 hr

That is stupid

He's way ahead of Donaldson (and leads all of baseball) in fWAR.

The difference is that fangraphs uses UZR while B-Ref uses DRS for defense.

I think UZR is more closer to reality than DRS.

We are getting closer to Trout, Pujols, and Hamilton all hitting well at the same time, a rarity since April 2013.

Just need Pujols to supply some power, and we may well be set then. He is hitting the ball decently lately, just not much power although he gave one pitch a ride last night to near the warning track.

I'm hoping that he can get hot for the rest of the year and bring his numbers up to around .310/.400/.580 with 35ish HR.

That + a first place/best record finish and maybe #1 in RBI's (he's 3 RBI's away from leading the league in it hitting at the #2 spot) guarantee's him the MVP.

7-16 with 2 hrs, 2b, 3bb, 3k.  ZERO outs made to the left side.  6 of his 7 hits from CF to RF including both hrs to CF.

This offense goes as Trout goes.  When he walks and hits the ball the other way, he's unstoppable.

Add Pujols hitting and Hamilton getting hot and we will be unstoppable.

Please explain to me the difference between DRS and UZR.

Do the A's shift more often and that screws up the DRS calculations when Donaldson fields a ball near SS?
