I would rather be positive, cheer for the team for the remainder of the season and hope they put together a better team/management/personnel for 2014

If the Angels want to keep Trout they will sign him.  To be worried about a player being a free agent 4 years from now is completely stupid.

Look, I get it.  We have 20 million people with no healthcare.  Can someone explain to me why the other 200 million + have to have a vastly reduced level of health care because of it?
 
The answer is Obama is following a recipe for socialism.  It has never worked before, but he is a puppet and his owners are pushing the buttons to control health care in the U.S., then banking (partially done) then education and energy.  It is a system of failure.

I think the point is you took the Red Sox failure completely out of context and put that cluster**** of a-hole players and an absentee manager and attached that to the Angels situation. But go ahead and hate away, all the cool kids are doing it.

Yeah, the Angels players are drinking beer and eating fried chicken during the games and Weaver during his DL stint was out playing golf every day.
 
What I don't understand about Scioscia haters is how far from reality their logic goes in making comparisons.

I know we are down on our team, but I think we are grossly under-estimating the value of our players.  Kendrick, PB, and Trumbo should bring us three solid major league pitchers, not one super star that can turn mediocre with one tweak of an elbow or shoulder.
 
We can replace all three, but Kendrick was an all star and should have been one this year.  Trumbo was an all star and will produce 30+ HR's his first three seasons with the Angels.  PB is the premier defensive CF in the league and has shown he can hit over 300 this year.  If we trade all three we should get 2 major league ready  pitchers and at least one solid major league prospect.  And that should be a minimum.  Granted Price is a stud, but after watching so many players fall off, I would say we would be giving up too much.

Trumbo and Richards for Price. 

The fact that the Rangers wont make the playoffs is the only bright spot for us.

Scioscia and Dipoto both need to go in the off season.
They are both equally inept.
They can still compete next year with the right moves.

Dipoto needs to put all his efforts into rebuilding the pen, pitching depth, and firing Scioscia.

It's time to scrap this plan and start handing out pink slips to all those you trusted. This team had no heart from the start. Spring Training set the tone and was a pretty good gauge on how this team played all season long.
