Here's an idea, stop tweeting that you're at the game, put down the phone and actually watch the freakin' game. That would cut down on fan injuries by 90%.

The thing that always bugged me about this guy (other than the fact that he comes off like a self-centered douche) is that baseball never seemed like his priority. He's got way too many things going on that have to distract him (Head & Shoulders commercials, car racing, photography, his supermodel wife) and the fact he came from Texas makes him even less likeable too.

Man............. I WISH, the Angels never picked this dude up.
 

If he ever does toe the mound again for us I hope it's as a reliever.

I'm so sick of this pussy. I had really hoped that he could be traded this winter, I never wanted to see him pitch in an Angels uni again after last season ended.
Now we're stuck with his sorry ass all f'n year.

I took my dad to game 7 in 2002 on his birthday.  
 
My dad, who sat with Gene Autry for the '67 All-Star Game featuring Drysdale, Aaron, Carew , Killebrew, Brock, Mantle. et al., myself who grew up at the Big A with Carew, Tanana, Grich, Bonds, Baylor, Nolan Ryan, Jackson.. And my son watching Pujols, Trout, Calhoun, Richards, Street..  The three of us just watched two games together in Tempe where Escobar went 7 for 7, Pujols hit two home runs in one inning and Mike Trout stopped in the parking lot and signed my son's baseball along with 13 other players.   
 
Nothing, and i mean nothing, could ruin this season for me.  

Once again, even though it's only spring training, a good spring training performance is more encouraging than a bad spring training performance.  
 
**** all y'all complaining or saying it's only spring training.  I'm gonna enjoy it.

This is one of those pointless arguments that I can't get into.   I think Arte's comment about the CBA is just lip service to cover for his unwillingness to spend this offseason....  Whatever, just throw all that money into player development and actually get something useful out of it.

He's likely done.  I suspect he will be gone soon, it wouldn't shock me to see him walk away.  
 
As hard as it is for us as fans to watch what's going on imagine being in his head.. He's turned over every stone the last few years trying to find a way to stave off the inevitable and none of it has worked.   Forgive me but I'll choose to remember him for what he was and celebrate what he gave us instead of lining up to kick him as he exits.
 
  

The way I see it is there are guys that should be free of harsh criticism, Weaver is that kind of guy. It's obvious his stuff is gone, but he's had a top 3 career for an Angel starting pitcher. He's also signed a team friendly deal. He's had a great career and probably deserves credit.

Yup this dude's already annoying. 

He was playing with a hurt wrist. He wouldn't admit it, but when he rolled over on his wrist in late July, he hurt his wrist and it took time to heal. He kept playing regardless. If we had an even a league average LF, we win the division. If we had a better defensive 2B we win the division. If Calhoun could have made that catch just over the RF fence we make the playoffs. There was plenty of guilt to go around without laying the blame on the best player in baseball.

Kind of think that Trout's wrist was hurt more than what was let on. He came back in September..... Also, in August we lost Freese and Gio.....So, we had the rooks and Gillaspie (sp?) at 3rd and Featherweight at 2nd who couldn't hit his way out of a wet paper bag.
 
As a team offensively August was horrid.

I say we just put him in a glass case and never let him out. That's how we'll make sure he's always healthy!

Yeah, why try to utilize your speed to get into scoring position which in the end could help win ball games.
