My favorite might be that game at Yankee stadium when Erstad made an insane catch on a ball that looked like a walk off and then came up and hit a bomb. (all after MO hid a bomb off Rivera)

as i've gotten older i've learned to enjoy the game for what it is a whole lot more. no more living and dieing game by game. no more expectations of "maybe this'll be the year for some magic." 2002 went a very, very long way for me. i sincerely hope i get to see another championship in my lifetime.
my daughter thoroughly enjoys the experience of going to games with me. we celebrate the great moments and "oh well, maybe tomorrow night" the rest. she's 19 and has had a sudden resurgence of interest in going to games. i'm going to enjoy that for as long as i can. winning and losing is completely secondary for me right now.

I only care if they are out of alignment with successful seasons. In Calhoun's case he has not changed at what he swings at but how he swings at those pitches is what defines his results. 

I’d kinda like to see the full healthy roster take the field at some point  this season. That would really be nice. The Astros are now rolling in a luxury penthouse while we are living in a van down by the river. Get healthy guys and get it together.

They just scored two runs on walks.  We haven't seen them show this type of discipline in ages...   It's nice to see.  Now they need to have a few more hit balls fall in.

it's less about producing more walks and more about swinging at pitches that are in your hit/hot zone even if that means letting more strikes go by.  Then, when behind in the count with two strikes you are forced to protect a bit more.   Their discipline peripherals are really good right now.  Eventually that BABIP will normalize.

I’ve decided that I believe @Chuckster70 has violated @WeatherWonk posting rights and thus his civil rights and that as an abused poster weatherwonk is in fact a discriminated against minority.  I think the ACLU needs to get involved here.  Getting owned constantly online is literal violence.
